Description
Hello all,
Can we add subtraction from the аnnounced price for the item that was sold?
For example, I have this trade offer trade/spectral-shard-t822926.html, where one guy asked to give me Token of Absolution for my Spectral Shard, but he wanted a few PGs in return, as change.
So I have announced that my Spectral Shard was sold for Token of Absolution, but I could not add that I gave something in return, as change.

Can be used to make Runewords:

Okay fixed now in 1.34, thanks for pointing that out @QuixoticGerbil .
You can now add negative values to the sale.
You can now add negative values to the sale.
UTC+3.
I'm not fixed to runes only, I also accept Perfect Gems; Keys for Uber; Token of Absolution(s) or Essences.
Feel free to post your offer or contact me directly without any concerns.
Yea, I've had a few trades like this, I think on some pretty high-valued items, and it makes it look like the item sold for way more than it actually did.
People generally put -1 or -2 as an additional item in the mark sold UI in situations like this.
So for OP's example, you put Token of Absolution in the first slot, then -5 Perfect Ruby or whatever in the second box.

I've tried putting negative numbers in the amount to convey this, but I believe the input was not accepted.
I don't think it's worth it. One, this happens very, very rarely. Two, it would mess up the price check table unnecessarily.
I've seen people use a workaround where they changed the description of the topic to include the change they'd thrown in to complete the trade.
Another option is, if it's something big and you're throwing in an Ohm to balance the exchange or something, then agree with your buyer/seller to just put in the actual price they would've paid had they had the exact runes.

Sugar, I'll look into this. Might have patched it by accident in 1.0...QuixoticGerbil wrote: 3 years agoI've tried putting negative numbers in the amount to convey this, but I believe the input was not accepted.
Edit: seems to be working fine for me.
@ek6u note that you can still go back and edit the sold-for values of your trade, even if you marked the trade complete already. This is possible from now until 3 days from now, after which the data gets archived in the historical price checker.
Could you give it a go please and let me know how you got on? Would be handy to test this.

This is what I remember getting when I tried it.ek6u wrote: 3 years agoThe error was displayed after clicking on the button to mark the trade as sold. It says "Please follow the required format".
