Fixed After squelch a user in a post, other users' posts are also invisible

Device: iMac
Browser: Edge
OS: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:

1. Post an item for sale;
2. UserA post a reply;
3. You (the original poster) squelch UserA;
4. UserB post another reply;
5. Now you can't see UserB's reply.

Anything else to add:

This is the post I am referring to, after I squelched a user, I can't see the second user's reply (the actual buyer), but when marking the item as sold, I was able to mark the second user as buyer.

Reported multiple times, never fixed.

Also it started happening to me with users I never squelched, probably squelched by someone else that posted in my thread, or who knows what.

Freaking waste of time.

Yeah, we have seen this on and off for a bit now. Teebling is working to fix it when he can.

However, in the meantime, I recommend not using the squelch feature. It's a great idea but it breaks threads at the moment. If you have a thread that you suspect is broken by this, please send me or the other moderators a message with a link to the thread - we've figured out a way to manually fix threads affected by this until teebs can fix the bug in the backend.

Typically what happens is somebody you have squelched posts in your thread, and that seems to break the thread and all users in that thread from then on are squelched. In the meantime if this is affecting you please try removing all users from your squelched list and it should fix your thread. If that still doesn't work, drop me a message and I can go in and fix a given thread for you.

We definitely understand it's a frustrating bug - hold tight while it gets fixed.
