I was rolling and was thinking, what if i don't get a JMoD or AMod but just a MoD. Can I use a socket quest or cube recipe to get to 3 or 4 sockets? I suppose I can get 1 and 2 as well...?

Socketing via Larzuk cannot give you 4 sockets on magic items (I think either 1 or 2 is possible).
Socketing recipe with 3 gems rerolls the magic properties as well.

I'm actually not sure, if you can re-roll armour with the cube, or if that only applies to weapons.

Yea, I didn't know it was a thing but ppl reroll the Monarchs and Javs to try and get lucky with the mods.

so, noob question, why do people want 4 socket magic Monarch? I get 4 socket White Monarch since there are great runewords for it but why the magic ones?
