Description

There are a lot of interesting situations and interactions in the game, that don't necessarily help you in-game.
I thought it would be interesting to read some of them.

Did you know that, if you give a low level barbarian two
Gull
daggers, you can create a character that doesn't have enough maximum mana for his skills?
Lvl 6 = 10-10 + 5 = 5 max mana,
Shout
costs 6.

Is there any useless information you have collected over the years?

If you wear something like Nadir with -33% Extra Gold, it is possible to drop 0 Gold Piles (At least in Legacy)

Character models are actually designed naked (with details for some reason) and clothing is layered over the model.
I won't post the pic here but if you google ^
Akara
there's a reddit about it.

She's only topless in the picture I saw, her midsection didn't render at all.
What stands out is the detail they put into her breasts, nipples, tan lines etc... like why?

On Act 2 if you step on scorpions you squish them.

"Diablo", which means "devil" in Spanish, is a name that came from Mount Diablo in Danville, California, a place where Brevik used to live.

He liked the name a lot but only realized it's meaning after some time.

But I believe you can still imbue a non-socketed Wirt’s Leg. That’ll be my fun fact here.

There are actually quite a number of little critters to squish.

Rats/mice in the tombs in act 2, larva in
Tal Rasha's Chamber
, snakes in act 3. Just to name a few.

Would be fun to have a list of them all. Something like:

Due to the way poison damage is calculated, you might actually do less (total) damage if you add some poison charms. Though in reality, this doesn't really affect the dmg output much.

The duration of the poison length is the average of all poison sources.
--Level 10
Poison Dagger
does up to 153 over 5.6 seconds (151 frames) or 1.01 DPF.

--A Small Charm of Anthrax does 50 over 5 seconds (135 frames) or 0.37 DPF.

--A perserved head which adds 50 over 4 seconds (108 frames) or 0.46 DPF.

The total damage per frame for this attack is 1.84, and it will last for 4.86 seconds (131 frames). This is a total of 241 poison damage.

If you added a charm that does 10 damage over 2 seconds, the damage per frame increases to 2.03, but the total damage is actually reduced to 227 because the effect only lasts for 4.15 seconds (112 frames).
