It bugged out (at least) twice before to where it wouldn't increase the status for you anymore (even if he spawned, it'd still show 2/6).
Relogging (exit and restart client, not just your game) fixes that.

Necro is a bad choice for uberdiablo.
Probably, but that's the only guy I have above level 30 Kind of slow player here that plays about 3 hours a week, and that's already too much according to my wife ^^
