The 2 minutes delay were crucial, it allowed me to catch it just in time ! ^^

Goddamn. Missed the Americas. It was 2/6 for like 5 days.

But, we can switch regions if it starts to progress to 6/6 correct?

You have to be in the right region, hell, right mode (sc/hc and l/nl) when DClone spawns, i.e. when he reaches 6. Most people start camping at 3. 4 and 5 usually go quickly (it's not a rule, just observation, but there had been exceptions).
If you're not with the right char but in the right game, you have enough time to leave/switch at 3 and most likely at 4, but less sure. If at 5, dont move.

And be sure to be in town when he spawns to choose where he pops.

Good to know. Much appreciated. I may just have to leave the PC running overnight when it hits 2/6- 3/6 until Diablo walks at the expense of turning my room into an oven. I actually left it on for a couple nights this week, but bad timing.

I do that as well, but only at 3/6, 2 is too random.

But the best is when the walks are announced here like today
