Another unconventional idea..

Blizzard sorc with Ice in a Demon Crossbow or Chu-Ko-Nu

+ skill dmg equal with Death's Fathom. we lose 5 points in blizzard and Cold Mastery. -20% cold res on Ice equals out the lost mastery. so we lose 5 points in blizzard net, which is not negligible but also not game breaking

we also lose the Spirit defences and convenience

we gain the Holy Freeze aura, and the Arrows replace the glacial spikes with 25% ctc Frost Nova and ignore target defence

we Teleport on swap, and optionally replace Spirit with Lidless Wall to save strength and offset some extra invest into dexterity

and since we life leech and save mana for the Energy Shield, we also partially offset the lost protective qualities of Spirit and the orb

in summary, it's an inferior alternative to the bis build, but the margin is about 10%, so one could try it for a change
