No idea actually. There's no stream to ask in either. FBI is live right now and his stream mentions a walk at 9pm KST (that's in ~15 minutes). But he wasn't the one hosting these walks in the first place (it was just one of his fans/viewers), so maybe there was a change of plans mid-event.

It seems to have ended sooner than assumed. 1200 SoJs should have been minimum 9 walks (more likely 11-12), but it stopped after 7, I think.

Basically, the game tracks how many SoJs (

Stone of Jordan) that has been sold to vendors in-game. It is tracked per region and game mode - ladder vs nonladder, softcore vs hardcore, and then 3 regions for each combination. When enough SoJs have been sold in total on any one region and game mode, Dclone will spawn on that region and game mode. It is meant to be a community effort, but these days the majority of SoJ selling is done by either streamers (at publically announced dates & times) or by shady parties (on an almost constant slow 24/7 basis).

Anyway, if you are in a Hell game before that final SoJ is sold, Dclone will replace the next super unique monster that you encounter in that game instance. If a certain super unique has already spawned in a game instance (because you already encountered it, and keep in mind that monsters spawn at a ~2 screen distance), Dclone won't replace that super unique, he will replace the next super unique (one that haven't yet spawned).

The number of SoJs it takes is random each time and impossible to know in advance, it varies between 75 and 125. It's also impossible to know exactly how many SoJs have been sold since the last Dclone walk, the only way to know how close it is to spawn is by using the /uberdiablo command in-game. There are essentially 6 stages.

1. Terror gazes upon Sanctuary (this is the state immediately after a Dclone walk)
2. Terror approaches Sanctuary
3. Terror begins to form within Sanctuary
4. Terror spreads across Sanctuary
5. Terror is about to be unleashed upon Sanctuary
6. Diablo has invaded Sanctuary

These are also reported in the game chat log whenever the stage changes. You'll never get the final status when manually typing /uberdiablo, you'll only see that status in the in-game chat log when the final SoJ is sold. You'll need to be in a game before that happens if you want to have a chance at killing Dclone.

The number of SoJs required between each stage seems to be completely random. The total required is always between 75 and 125 though.

They have figured out a way to automate it - it will capture the status update immediately as it happens in-game, and it will be reported on their website (and discord) pretty much instantly.

I mean, has it ever occurred to Blizzard to implement some kind of tracker inside of game or what? Everyone is using third party programs and they are somehow okay with this but not with all the other accessories. Can it be more simple like UBERS or something like that???

There is no longer any need for any IP tracking in D2R. They changed that 2½ years ago. The mechanics are described in my post and in the link I posted. Dclone always spawns on the entire region, not just a specific server IP. There is literally just one status to keep track of per region and game mode, and you can check it by using /uberdiablo (this is a chat command you can type in-game), by using the tracker on this site, or on another site like d2emu. IP hunting is a still thing in LoD, not in D2R.

Dclone no longer need to track IP nor use other program.
The stage will prompt in msg box when u r in game or lobby msg or can check using command /uberdiablo
