Hi all!
I am about to build Bramble for my necro and have both a Wyrmhide and a Boneweave as base options. I read though that Archon Plate would be best for Bramble.
WHat do you think?
Thanks for your opinions.

Bramble has a flat +def, so I would personally prefer a base that has lower str requirement and lower base def.
Archon is always a safe choice, but I'd say wyrm > Boneweave due to the str reqs

All prices are negotiable.

As you won't Teleport anymore without Enigma, for a necro, I would not go outside a light armor. So leaves 6 options for 4 sockets :
(base/#filter=Body%20Armor%2C%20Max%20so ... 3A%20Light)
Archon Plate, Dusk Shroud, Great Hauberk, Wyrmhide, Scarab Husk, Wire Fleece.
Then, I'll go with the highest def you can get with your budget but still within the strength you already possess - necros will prefer more vitality over more defense.
Finally, do remember that the Superior mod goes with much more expensive repair costs, so if you choose to go that route don't forget that.
PS. Don't necessarily stick to the armors you already possess - for something you'll drop a Sur and Ohm in, you can spend a pair of Ists to get a good base. ^^

Main: Necromancer / Second: Assassin / Third: Amazon / Check my stash, my crafts and my many cheap Annihilus
OP
str shouldn‘t be an issue, I am using Spirit as swap shield…
Also consider straight up Mage Plate, with a torch and anni you may be able to leave your strength almost at base level
Nate bro. Bramble is made in 4os bases. Mage plates can only go up to 3os.Nate wrote: 1 year ago Also consider straight up Mage Plate, with a torch and anni you may be able to leave your strength almost at base level
I’ve rolled my Bramble in a Dusk Shroud. And my Necro looks like a hobo, plz go with AP
Shredded hobo though. Some folks dig that look.
Albeit certainly not me..archon or bust!

Dusk Shroud = biker hobo
Wire Fleece = flamboyant rockstar
Wyrmhide/ Scarab Husk = grayscale cultist
Archon Plate = chad cultist leader
Great Hauberk = sissy cultist leader
I like they grayscale, to be honest.

If you get a PM offer, post it in the trade. Promote healthy competition instead of settling for less.
