Hi,
can someone help me calculate my dmg with my WW barb and my Grief because google couldnt help me, a understandable formula for normal humans wasn't to be found and the character window obviously shows the wrong numbers.

Best would be an understandable formula ( for idiots pls :D)

My barb is atm

Strenght 206
Dex 193

Offhand is a
Spirit Ward

Grief is in a PB 31-35 dmg
38% ias
+369 damage
and don't know if its important : adds 5-30 fire damage
Blade Mastery
at 22 with damage +133% and Attack Rating 208%
Whirlwind
at 27 with Attack rating +130%, damage +158% and the 50% dmg reduce of the skill

What else is there to say.... plz halp I am despairing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't tried to figure out the calculations but have used maxroll character planner to calculate the damage. I think it's a great tool.

It's a shame that the true damage doesn't show on the character screen in-game.

Here is how you calculate it yourself.

First, you add superior ED% bonus to the weapon, but I guess there's none here.

Then add Damage + from Grief to the min/max of the weapon.

Min/Max damage with Grief: 31-35 + 369 = 400-404

You now add all flat damage bonuses from off-weapon sources, such as charms or War Travs. None listed here.

Multiply with ALL off-weapon ED% bonuses from items, attributes, and skills together. Dex doesn't matter here, so we add the strength multiplier, which is a 1:1 ratio for most melee weapons (+% Damage = [Strength * Bonus/100).
Using the given info, this = 497%.

Min/Max Grief with off-weapon bonuses = 2388-2411 (2400 average). This is your subtotal before factoring Crit/Deadly Strike, and you can apply all elemental/poison damage at this point.

I tried the char calculator and entered my tesladin.
the calculator is not accurate. some numbers are wrong and it doesn't consider deadly strike at all, other numbers were just a little off.

however, it gives you a rough estimate, but the numbers should be taken with a grain of salt
