Diablo clone offline?

Hello all, I was doing some lk runs offline on my sorc when I got the message “

Terror begins to form within Sanctuary”

Should I expect more messages like this? What does it mean?


I though I would need to find and soj then sell it before I would get messages like this, or I wouldn’t get them at all offline.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Apparently, if you connect to b.net but play offline, you still get the status messages, including the last one (has invaded..). However, he will not actually spawn in an offline game unless you sell an SoJ yourself to trigger it there. You only get the messages, nothing else.

yeah, apparently the reason for that is so you won't miss a Dclone spawn if you're online but playing single player. It's to give you a heads up to swap over to online if you got a character for it.
