I just got a unique ring from Baal that I haven't id. I'm curious what something like this would sell for an if there's a market for it?
Can be used to make Runewords:

I’ve been playing for a long time and personally wouldn’t pay anything for an Unid unique ring. The expected value would be way too low on any rune offer. Maybe if it was low priced enough, like Io or like? Even then the math doesn’t really pencil out.
You’re better off crossing your fingers and hoping for something ID you can sell

its a manald =P
I went ahead and Id'd it. It was a Nagel 28%MF. Not too bad.
I thought there would be more of a market for this. un-id'd torches go for pretty good. Why not unique rings? I'd pay a Pul for one

"Then you are really bad at math, if you play the game long enough..."
Ouch, I thought this was a friendly forum.
Anyway, people very often gamble into things where the odds aren't in their favor and it doesn't make economical sense. Entire billion dollar industries are built around this (casinos, gambling, loot boxes). It's a very fundamental part of human nature. I just found it surprising that people wouldn't want to try their luck.
