Do you think it's worth burning a Zod offline for this RW for the purpose of replacing Heart of the Oak for Blessed Hammer paladin? Having trouble seeing the ROI.

You got an extra Skill with Void and the "edit:" magic skill dmg. I like using Abyss while casting hammers. Nothing else imho.
Abyss is useless for Hammerdins imho. But tricky with necro...(I use it as a stunn and cast Bone Spear 's to the middle...) Decrepify is cool against heralds they dont spawn often so it is worth the charges

Maybe Void provide more raw damage than Heart of the Oak. But HOTO is in general superior because provides 30-40 all res, Void doesn't. HOTO also provides +10 to dexterity, it helps to achieve 75% block chance with less points spent in dexterity. If you still want do a Void do it in a non-ethereal base in order to replenish the decripify charges.
I am personally saving my SSF Zod for Obsession once I make a Warlock. I think that's a better choice, but Void is also useful. Probably harder to find a really nice base with the right skills, however.

Thanks yeah I only have a single Zod and really want to make an Obsession some day myself. Will avoid Void for the time being!

necro makes sense with magic skill damage
sorc is rather low
for sorc a lethargy ring
(Warlock Only) doesnt matter for necro except the skill which has +1-3 // magic skill damage 15% is best
as necro ignore Decrepify as sorc does profit though

Wise choice, Obsession, for warlocks, is BIS in my opinion, although Void maybe provide more raw magic damage.
Obsession plus loading up on Chaos skillers is the way of the warlock. I'll build Void in due time just for chronicle whenever I find a suitable base

Void - Miasma Warlock with a focus on Abyss and Hammerdin (probably not Bonemancer, White is too good)
Breath of the Dying - All kinds of melee builds.
I would go Void because it is bis for Abyss Locks and Hammerdin but there are viable alternatives to Obsession (self-wield Infi, Eschuta's, Death's Fathom, Doom, Mang's etc).

I agree with this from a pure raw damage perspective but you give up 60%-70% all res by going with Void over Obsession (for warlock). True, for the Uber Summit you need different gear.
