Can be used to make Runewords:

I am struggling with the new patch too (re sunders) but maybe it is just rngesus testing my Faith.

It’s 100% RNG fuckery. Stick with it, it’ll even out. Law of averages n stuff
You mean the law of large numbers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_large_numbers)
And since it's a mathematical law, you can't break it. You can just sit on the wrong side of the bell curve...
Playing HC SSF right now.

You're welcome to move to the right side of that curve, drop and roll a bunch of them and finally put that last one I still need up for sale here. Just an idea.
This ladder I was also struggling without a sunder. Tried to get my one for a long time. Finally I found stuff to trade and bought latent fire from another player. And it rolled -10 fire ! Yummy!
Having sunder rocks. Within 2days I got one physical (my demon enjoys it on start of each run) and one lightning. Which rolled -10 and with other aweaome mods too.
Both charms dropped on P1 from Heralds.

I’ve made the mistake of rolling 2 into lock skillers so now Im addicted or are you saying you’ve rerolled into a latent?

I've found 30 Sunders so far from 1571 Herald killed. (9 Sunders were from mobs)
-- First generation = 3 Sunders from 425 Heralds -- Those I got from the "first generation" of Heralds, the ones that were spawning from Champions and Unique with those very slim chances to appear. Awful drop rates.
-- Patch 3.2 = 22 Sunders from 831 Heralds - - Those I got from 831 Heralds (actually I got only 13 from Heralds and 9 from mobs)
-- Patch 3.3 = 5 Sunders from 265 Heralds - - Those I got from 265 Heralds
The worst streak was 173 Heralds with no drop (I took just the post 3.2 Patch, not the first generation. There were 176 Heralds with no drop).
The best streak was 2 Heralds. I got two Sunders from two consecutive Heralds.
Ironically, I got only two Latent Crack of the Heavens, the first one being Sunder number 27 and the second one, number 30. I found 3 Latent Bone Break and 2 Latent Black Cleft before I found the very first Latent Crack of the Heavens.

I managed to kill the first couple of heralds (SSF HC) and had at least one very close near Death even with BO (whole pack spawned directly above me).
How often do you die when cleaning heralds? Any recommendations to not die? My current approach is to Teleport very quickly around until they spawn and start to pick the pack apart one by one.

I never die now and if I do, something is terribly wrong. I don't even have to BO now. 10 chains and an Abyss waiting for them usually insta-claps them unless a T5 spawns as a gloam or one of those asshole devil dolls. Then it might be a fight beyond a few secondsvued wrote: 1 hour agoI managed to kill the first couple of heralds (SSF HC) and had at least one very close near Death even with BO (whole pack spawned directly above me).

My problem with this is: If there is still a small risk for a GG geared Chains Warlock, then the risk is too high for my SSF geared sorc.Rhaegar86 wrote: 1 hour agoI never die now and if I do, something is terribly wrong. So, should I stop? What are the main causes of Death and how can they be mitigated to 99.99% certainty?

OP
HC play is a different animal altogether and I don't need that in my life lol. But seriously, I had to migrate away from SSF gear at some point (to get that 99.9% success rate) but I told myself that if I had found at least one of a certain item in the field then it was ok to trade up for GG level and that's what I've been doing as funds have allowed. I have been farming my way to GG gear through trade and SSF and it's worked out pretty well so far. I hope that answered your questionvued wrote: 36 minutes agoMy problem with this is: If there is still a small risk for a GG geared Chains Warlock, then the risk is too high for my SSF geared sorc.Rhaegar86 wrote: 1 hour agoI never die now and if I do, something is terribly wrong.
