My bad lol. I always assume if you've managed to beat the ubers that means you have pretty stiff end game gear. Anyway, welcome to the insanity that is poke(de)mon hunting lol
nah i just dipped close to the lr i needed for meph on very low budget gear for MB :D just holding a duriels shell and Obedience for example... and angelic ring+amu :D
Pretty sure I can get you close to 20 pt. I can make you Authority, got an extra Shako, got a Bind Demon Splendor, HoTo, anni... That's 12 points. Don't have an extra lock torch unfortunately. SOJs aren't too expensive and you can sometimes get a +3 Ammy. I do have an extra Mara. Hrmm.. mara + 2 SoJ + Arachnid Mesh + demon Boots is 20 points.
hahaha :D appreciate your efford! ill try it out next time i get my hands on trist, last time in the furnace i didnt had them, else i would have tried them out already, so i only need to get to 20 with soft points just to bind him right? after i can swap back and the aura stays the same?

Your demon keeps the aura when you start a new game, but you need to wear all + to Skill gear when start the game to get the highest possible Level of your demon. But its only needed when you target T4/5 heralds, ubers and ancients. Against normal bosses, terrorzones and low level heralds, the demon is strong enough without the +to skill at the start.

Correct, his affixes and health are snapshot at the time of binding, and the additional affixes (including Aura Enchanted) get added after the inherent affixes. For example, if the demon is Stone Skin Magic Resistant, it would then show up as Stone Skin Magic Resistant Extra Fast Extra Strong Spectral Hit Aura Enchanted after binding if you have 20 soft points. After that, you can lose the gear and your demon's health and affixes will be unaffected. There is still a lot of grey area regarding resistances that come from Blood Oath, though.

At the start if each game, your demon "spawns" and your Bind Demon and Demonic Mastery level are used to calculate your demon's damage for the duration of that game. BUT, since you are binding a rainbow pit lord, they have terrible damage anyway because they prefer to blow fire than hit with their sword, which does next to nothing. You have that demon to TANK. And it is pretty much the best tank there is.

Let me know if you need help getting to 20pt.

so they even got a way bigger hp pool then a hephasto does? or are they just that insane due to their amount of immunities? cause if i see it right, these demons cant come with the stoneskin affix? so any physical dmg will melt them back to hell?!

I believe they come inherently with 50% physical resists, so they're not terrible with physical. I also believe but have to go back and check, that they have health caps similar to superuniques, so that would be 20k Hp at players 1 (will confirm). The other immunities put them as top tier tanks. A Stone Skin Lister or Urdar might be slightly better in certain circumstances, but then you need more hard points (unless doing Stine Skin Tz for regular Urdar, but then you'd probably prefer cursed or some other affix).

is it possible, that they can spawn as a champion in the forge? so they could get Stone skin aswell? i saw in matrons den that the witches do spawn there also as champions

As Elites (pack leaders), aka uniques, yes. Champions don't carry any affixes, so they are almost worse than normal monsters. Although a Ghostly rainbow pit lord would be pretty wild (80% physical resists, instead of 50%). In that case, they will be better than a Stone Skin Pit Lord, because the Stone Skin won't apply (would add another immunity and they already have over the affix limit, so fails the checkpoint).

Honestly, I'd be all over a Ghostly rainbow pit lord. Style points x1000.

Welp, gonna have to say goodbye to my Curse + Stone Skin + Magic Resistant lancer :-(

I tried out Bowlock. Spent an inordinate amount of Wealth from my Mang sale on it, but ended up not liking the playstyle as much as Abyss/Chains. So back to Abyss/Chains/MaxDemon. The hunt continues!

My demons are not keeping aggro in ancients.... I thought it might've been bc the rainbow pit lords are so low level, but it was the same with one bound from a high level tz :/

Do i need more soft points? Only have 21 or so at bind/game start

♥♥♥ SC ladder & non-ladder ♥♥♥

Ladder equivalence *
1 Perfect Amethyst = 2 Ral = 3 Perfect Gems

Either increase the demon's damage (i.e., higher Bind Demon skill level, or use a demon that has higher base damage, but skill level is a bigger contributor overall), or reduce your own primary skill (left click) damage. The aggro scoring takes the listed attack damage of each viable target into account - for yourself, that's the primary skill (left click), as far as I know. You can reduce your aggro score by setting a different skill with less damage on left click.
(damage is not the only factor, but afaik it's the biggest overall contributor)

What's your build?

Would switching Miasma Chain to right click fix that ?

Build is Obsession, Hellwarden's Will, Ars Dul'Mephistos, Enigma, Mara's Kaleidoscope, Gheed's Wager, 1x The Stone of Jordan, rares for the rest. Call To Arms + Spirit on swap. Also Renewed Black Cleft, 3 Chaos skillers, Hellfire Torch & Annihilus
Max Miasma Chain, Abyss, Miasma Bolt, Consume, + 1 pt Bind Demon, 1 pt Sigil Lethargy

Possibly - try changing things up with your keybinds and see if anything makes a difference. Aggro scoring for uber bosses is very complicated. It takes into account attack damage, level, distance, melee/range, resistances, chill state, whether the target is on low hp or not, skill level, and possibly more.
