I didn't read through all the pages, but I'm a little disappointed that the Warlock Teleport issue wasn't even mentioned! I hate it when I Teleport and my minions and merc don't move until all the monsters on the screen are dead, THEN they move "freely" around. My wife has the same buid, but her minions don't behave like that, so it doesn't happen to everyone the same.
This issue is not Warlock specific, it’s an old issue that’s been around forever but only really affected necros before RoTW. Some monsters when Revived, especially Blunderbore, will cause the exact same behavior - all skeletons and your golem will remain fixed on your feet until you move, and necro doesn’t even have a Death Mark equivalent! Also, only a few steps are necessary for the minions to start moving, not 10 yards, that’s a massive over-exaggeration (yes, I’ve played warlock extensively with bound Blunderbore). This issue is as old as the game itself, Warlock just made more people aware of it because the class is way more popular than necro ever was.

It is triggered by having a large minion. Bind a medium sized or small sized minion and it will stop happening if you find it too annoying. But yes, of course, most of us wish Blizzard would do something about it.

My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.

I appreciate your experience. I've played plenty of necros and have never experienced this issue, pre-RotW. Is it possible it's a RotW bug? Also, I'm not exaggerating about the distance I have to travel to "release" the minions. From the Teleport spot, when I move, my minions are almost off screen before they'll move (unless they kill all monsters on the screen first). and with this character, I don't even have a bound demon, 3 summoned Tainted and my merc. Regardless of when this started, it's super annoying and should have been addressed with the popularity of Warlock making this more prevalent, IMO.

What ShadowHeart is describing isn't an RotW bug but far precedes that.
Necros aren't usually affected by this with just skeletons or golems as those aren't large enough to trigger it. But once you add in revives to grab larger mobs (e.g. Urdars), you'll experience the exact same problem.

What you're describing though, if you really have to move that far, that's something different and seemingly entirely broken then as that should not be the case (and isn't something I've ever seen, be it with locks or necros, neither with binds nor with Tainted). The tele-lock bug works the same today as it always has in that as soon as you take a tiny step, just to "cross the bounds of the larger mob you're stacked on", they all get released and start moving.

Only thing that comes to mind for what you're describing is if you tele some distance from the next mob, your Tainted and (ranged) merc might decide to just shoot from where they are, rather than move anywhere. In that case, they'd sit still but attack and wouldn't move until you move far enough away from them to force them into movement despite them just wanting to attack instead.

As there are no ladder-only rune words anymore, what is the point in going on ladder this season? Just competition? Ladder-only Manald Heal and other trash items for the chronicle? Will they at least be separate items in Chronicle or if you have them already, discovering upgraded ones will add nothing?

For me it was never about ladder-only runewords, it's just fun to start fresh 🙂

Is Manald Heal really getting Faster Cast Rate though?

In MrLlamaSC's YouTube video it is Faster Run/Walk...

For me it’s about the fresh start and economy reset, the thrill of being ready to solo (and help others with) dclone for the first inevitable walk, as well as other endgame content, and the never ending hunt for more annis. (ladder walks are far more common than non-ladder ones)

I’m in a few Discord communities where the majority of active members are ladder players, and activity and excitement always peaks up around reset and for the first several weeks of each season; people discussing reset strategies, try to arrange start groups, ask for ladder start build advice, need help with typical reset playthrough things (help kill my X on Y difficulty), people needing and providing help with Uber Tristram or Colossal Summit at a point where everyone is still undergeared, being able to pass on your old stuff to those start slower or late and which actually helps them (stuff that would be useless and Charsi’d mid-season, or at any time in non-ladder). Sure, all of these things occur on non-ladder too all the time, but not at the scale of a reset where everyone is starting over, everyone is trying to complete Hell, farm torches/colossals/sunders, etc, there’s just a lot of buzz and activity and opportunities to help each other. On non-ladder everyone eventually reaches a point where they’re set and can do everything by themselves and only need help with rescues, pretty much. Sure, most people get to that point eventually in a ladder season too (unless you quit early because of RL or other games, of course), but for a couple of glorious weeks each season, the community just livens up.

If it wasn’t for this cyclic nature of seasons I probably would have quit D2R years ago. Which is funny because before the very first ladder season in D2R I too didn’t see the point with ladders at all except for the ladder-only rune words and never thought I’d become a ladder player, and yet here I am, having played every reset so far.

The patch notes originally said FRW. I think MrLlamaSc’s video went up at that point. Blizzard later patched the patch notes and changed it to FCR (without saying anything, but the community noticed it). I.e., they deliberately edited the patch notes for this.

Ah, thx for clarifying.

when the season ends i understand that you can only take items out of the shared stash to put in your personal inventory or personal stash

what about the gems materials and runes?
do they simply transfer into the non ladder stash?
what if the amount exceeds 99?
You get remove-only versions of all shared stash tabs, including materials tabs as well
Withdraw only tabs are available once S15 commences? With this new 3 day layover between patch and season start, that is unclear.

I've already transferred and sorted everything to non-ladder when ladder ended yesterday. There should be a "remove-only" button at the top right of your stash, not sure why you can't see it

Ya, that's what I don't understand either. It's like this for both of my accounts.

Did you have anything in your shared stash on ladder?
If the ladder stash is empty, be that because you never had anything in it or because you removed the last piece, that 'remove only' button disappears.
Also, the 'remove only' button is only visible on the respective same page type. So if you're looking at personal, you won't see it. If you're looking at shared, you'll only see it if the ladder shared tabs had something in them. And if you're looking at the stackable/material tabs, you'll only see it if those tabs had something in the ladder stash.

There were definitely items in shared along with materials, gems and runes tabs. Remove only button is missing from all of them.

I only just logged in recently. I hadn't shifted anything around pre-emptively. Last time chronicle shows me finding anything was back in May.

Odd. If the tabs were filled, you should definitely see it for those respective tabs. It has all already been moved to NL and is generally accessible there (I've already cleared mine out so can confirm).

At the risk of asking the obvious, are you sure you're looking for it in the same game mode? (LoD vs. RotW, HC vs. SC, ...) If in doubt, hop on your (previously) ladder character which should've been converted to a non-ladder character that is inherently still otherwise in the same game mode.
