Paladin hammers do not receive any benefits from the Pierce attribute, but Blessed Hammers do 'pass through' monsters and will deal damage to each one it hits until it disappears.

Why would a magical hammer get piercing effects? I mean the hammer already pierces through enemies, what else could it gain from adding extra piercing?
