.. and i didn't realize until today how lucky my roll of Spirit was. only cared about fcr, but mana .. magic absorb could be higher though
Finding two of them in one day seems to be a little too much luck... It would be really interesting to know if date and time affect drop rates. For my taste I now simply had too much coincidents of this sort... (e. g. haven't found a Tals amy in months and now two in one day)
After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)

Wow, that thing might be worth a fortune if Ars Diablos didn’t exist. Nice!
It's off topic - but i'm so sad that the unique books are so op.... There could be sooo many cool Splendor/Rhyme bases and blues, but they just can't compete right nowvarangium wrote: 1 day agoWow, that thing might be worth a fortune if Ars Diablos didn’t exist. Nice!
Like ughhh!!
Agree with that. Imho for all slots it should be:
• BIS item is extremely rare rare item (like 6/6 affixes needed) with rare/unique jewel(s)
• Closely followed by rare runeword (one that includes at least one high rune) in a rare base (like 3/3 automods)
• Closely followed by unique with good roll and rare jewel
• Closely followed by rare magic item (2/2 affixes with 2 perfect rolls) with rare/unique jewel(s)
Not too close but not too far the "standard" things so that every class is playable and fun even with suboptimal gear. Like tha above mentioned would be 3%/4%/5% better, respectively. If you get 5% better in each slot, that's accumulating pretty nicely.
There is too much imbalance in the game as is and it would be rather simple to fix. Just don't make so crazy OP things, Blizzard.
Playing HC SSF right now.
Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa
Nightmare completed: Barb
Normal completed: Necro
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1

I don't love the idea of rares being bis in all slots, nor every slot having the same hierarchy of items like that. Those rares being extremely rare means most will still be useless and it'll still feel like a waste of time picking them up to id. Rares already have a place in circlets, gloves, rings, and Boots, blues in amulets and circlets and jeweller's items. I think d2's itemization is great because of the variance it has, i feel like other games have tried the all randomly generated equip route and it doesn't really make for compelling itemizationvued wrote: 16 hours agoAgree with that. That being said runewords for automod bases (orbs, shrunken heads, books) i think are really lacking
o.o
Radament just dropped me a Latent Flame Rift on single player on my Druid playthrough LOL. Thing was just sitting there next to the Book of Skill. Players 3.
All trades are negotiable within reason

Just finished TZ Nihlathak, and he was kind with his drops. The Necro head gear is decent because it has plus 2 to all skills, 20%, to all resists except lighting which is 60%. Nihl then topped the half hour with a Latent Flame Rift.
