before today i sid some 10 runs with self wield Infinity zon, mostly smooth, and mostly targeting Madawc
what changed today was +14 sundy (before -10)
i thought ~-75 from Infinity and jeweled griffon is more than enough
i went after Korlic today, but he somehow died way too fast, and Madawc too slow, so i ended up with 2 more lightning stones (one 9/9 btw)
so on 3rd try i went stubbornly after Madawc ignoring the other two, burned through dozens of potions, and eventually they got me.
considering how much slower Madawc was to die than the other two, i believe Conviction does work after all, and it worked at 1/5 effectiveness against him
will prly use -10 charm next time, and switch tactic to opportunistically kill either of the two i don't need first, and only then Concentrate on the actual prize
PS they should nerf them by ~20% flat and some further 50% per attack while doubling attack rate. that way flat pdr, mdr and absorb will at least do something, and experience will become less masochistic
I joined to help earlier naively thinking I would only have Madawc to deal with. But Lo and behold, the event resets when a new person joins, and I didn't have my cursed Urdar that is great for Ubers (currently running a nice non-cursed Lancer for Tz map clearing).
We littered the Ground with rejuvs, but without being able to coordinate and kite them/separate them, we were overwhelmed. I also need to find a Life Tap Wand so that my demon can keep up his/her health. That worked great when duoing with my brother's necro and his army of Urdar revives.
