Has anyone taken Hephy into an uber or ancients fight yet?

I'm currently a level 94 abysslock summoner (level 40

Abyss/39 chains) with a prety nasty cursed Hephy with Stone skin and

Vigor. I have yet to attempt either of these events yet and was wondering if anyone has used this level of bound demon to help take down the ubers or ancients before I lose this demon. I'm still working on getting my lightening res above 300 though before I try them.

I watched a YT video a while back of someone using Lister to tank all 3 of the ubers by himself so I would assume Hephy would fare similarly.

Bound Demons are tanky, your Lock will probably be at more risk than the bound demon.

Blood Oath and lvl 44

Bind Demon

=> works like a charm on uber ancients

That video was probably from pre-patch, demons were a lot more tanky then. Problem with Hephasto is that he has 0 physical and poison resistance, and only 25% lightning resists. Stone skin helps, but without lightning enchanted and lots of lightning resists uber meph will kill him very quickly. Lister has both physical and high lightning resists naturally, so he is generally a better tank for the ubers currently. Still going to need a high level

Great points. I might just grab a TZ Lister when I go after the ubers. I need a lock torch badly. I have 14 points in BO currently but have been reading in here that BO is basically a one point wonder based on some bound demon testing by one of the forum members

Demonic Mastery and 47

Bind Demon. I suspect the high

Blood Oath will help with resists when the penalty sets in--only problem is that we don't know if the resists are applied (and capped) at Binding, at start of game, or are dynamically added. We also don't know if they overcap like our characters and mercs do, helping with the penalties. Or, if it applies like Spectral Hit resists, i.e., check if you have 2 immunities, and of you do, skip the bonus altogether if it would create a third immunity.

I think Lister will help, but I haven't made it to Ancients yet--still missing a Worusk for my first go at it. Lister might help with aggro as well since he uses

Smite.

Otherwise, you can get a Physical and Lightning immune Urdar from Tz Durance if you find one with Stone Skin. Cursed, obviously. That's a tanky boy, too, and the physical immunity should help.

That's so nice. Hold onto that Worusk. I'm in Kenya all week and I haven't dared go out of town with the bad connection. Mostly been trading and upgrading gems/runes this week. Next week I'm in London and might have a go at it, but I'm planning a respec and

Blood Oath testing, so I will be hunting for a new demon then. Goal is for a fancy dark lancer, but for Ancients I will start with a Cursed/Stone Skin Mauler from Durance (inherently lighning immune).

Also no. I currently have 4x4x1 keys. My brother is up to 11 of each though, so we'll be doing some ubers next week. So far I've only been killing Dclones in P1, which are no problem. About 10 seconds max. I'm expecting the ubers and ancients to be more challenging.
