What armor to wear with dual dream zeal sorc?

Hi!

I wanted to use a Guardian's Thunder for a Zeal-Dream-Sorc.

I'm wearing some 20IAS/res gloves, Highlord's Wrath and a Passion PB to reach maximum attack speed.

For maximum resis I have two Dreams (obviously), Aldurs' Advance (also nice for damage to mana), Naj's Light Plate (also very nice for damage to mana), Hellfire Torch, Annihilus and lots of resi charms. Still leaves room for Gheed's Fortune, Crack of the Heavens and 3 light skillers.


Now I'm pondering what is better:

A jeweler's armor of whatever with Guardian's Thunder and 3x light facet? Sure, you'll be less tanky, but the lightningdmg from the facets should add quite some dps in addition to the +15%/-15%, right? Or does the merc's Infinity make the facets obsolete?
Or do I stick with Naj's and slot the jewel there?
Or something esle entirely? Fortitude also seems to be very nice.

I don't feel that I need Guardian Angel at all, like it's suggested on maxroll.gg. Am I missing something here? And all the other suggestions like Twitchthroe seem to be even more off. I'm confused.

I know these armors an maxroll are suggested for maxblock, but to me it doesn't seem nessesary. Has anyone made some experiences with that?

Facets is probably a good although expensive idea. I would just run Enigma TBH, it just gives so much.

That's a nice one. I keep forgetting, that you can also run Enigma on sorcs...

A budget alternative to a jeweler's armor is Natalya's Shadow.
Compared to a jewel's armor of life, you are giving up one socket for 25 pr and plrb 75, which I think is a good deal for any ES sorc.

I run Chains of Honor, but I have 50/50 between Vitality and Energy, not pure ES.

Also, don't mix up Guardian's Thunder with Guardian's Light while putting it on your Dream sorc.

Ha, didn't realize that when writing! Thanks for the hint, edited the og post. But I'm pretty sure this would never happen ingame.

CoH is also a nice suggestion. But I'd really like to know, if a dmg boost from Guardian's Thunder + 3 Facets would be noticable.

Maybe I'll try it myself... Have a perfect Jeweler's Ancient Armor of Amicae that was kindly offered to me from Anya once.

If I do so, I'll report it here!

2 skills to Lightning Mastery is +24% damage, so essentialy you only gain -25% enemy res by switching to facets. Which is quite helpful when dealing with lightning immunes, less so against everything else. I guess it will be noticeable.

Black Hades is another one. But Gris basically has 20 str, Black Hades has damage and attack rating vs. demons, and Nat's has ~90 life, 25 pr, and plrb 75. So, esp. for an ES sorc, Nat's is the best. Black Hades could be an offensive option as well. Gris 20 str is not good enough compared to the other 2.

You also get 4-297 raw lightningdmg, which results in ~750 average dmg with Lightning Mastery per hit, hitting 5x --> ~3750 average dmg per Zeal attack.

I use Dragon for the extra str and I also max Fire Mastery for extra damage bc i run Enchant on my Dream sorc, again for more damage.

I don't use facets personally on my Dream/Dragon build.
