Hello,

A few questions:
- I heard the

Protector's Stone was bugged as the + ED% only applied when socketed in a weapon. Is this patched?
- Also, for elemental jewels, which stat to prioritize between the + elemental dmg and the - elemental res?

For some skills that double-dip on elemental damage modifiers (like

Holy Shock), I'd go with +damage too.

Not patched , and for paladin, bar this jewel is 0 performance, only defense/

Fade use.
There is another way, you use Enhance Damage circle, it will remove bug. (not sure about warlock but amazon can use physical jewel, paladin and bar cannot)
Druid, not much player, not very sure about it but I guess physical jewel is also no use(0 performance ) .

Previous post probably enough for second question, for some cases, if your -res exceed -100, it will remove the extra part.
i.e. Sorc , griffon 20, -10 jewel , + 8 5x5 facet, Infinity 70,

Crescent Moon -35. = 175 , cow res 50 , max -100, only -150 works , extra 25 is waste.

What about fire sorc for Andy runs, still -res >> +dmg ? (I have a fire sunder too)

Andariel has -50 fire res, so it doesn't really matter either way. If you really want to know, I guess for 2 fire jews which have same number of -res or + dam, +dam wins a bit.

I wonder if the -res isn't really important for the cold sorc too.

My cold sorc can cruise through most things that aren't cold immune. She has a cold sunder charm, but since

Cold Mastery has so little effect against broken immunities (face value is around -180% but that goes down to -36% against immunes), she does struggle against cold immunes with loads of hp (particularly high-level heralds). I think she would be a lot stronger with a source of -resists that isn't reduced vs broken immunities - which I think applies to the jewel?

smiter use cb, nothing to do with -res

Zeal , sacrify and those two attack....
if you have full gear, you will find it kill hard monster 60-80% hp in 1 hit. Add jewel makes it something like 65%-90% hp which makes jewel become useless upgrade. It is better to use

Um or some other things than this. Just very bad . Even blue jewel with FHR only can beat this. or 10AR 30 FR cheap jewel.
The only good part is it have

Fade. But no one will trigger it before boss fight. So it is just bad, attack performance is 0. And no one will use

Zeal build to fight boss. Smiter easy kill , why you build perfect

Zeal and have a hard time vs boss?

Amazon can make use of it. It is completely different for amazon. Very good very useful.

Sundered mob res is 95%. Lets assume -45% enemy res from

Cold Mastery and facets, extra 10% will boost your damage from 50% to 60%. This is an x1.2 increase, but it's only against a subset of mobs. +10% Cold damage will give you x1.07-x1.08 against everything.
On Colossal Jewels they aren't even exclusive, worst case you're choosing between -5/+10 and -10/+5. The difference will be negligible. This is more of a question when choosing a renewed sunder charm.

I am on smiter, and I use CoA. I was looking at Maxroll build, they have the Ancient Jewel with -10 physical res in it + 1
