Description

...or just me? The last few days I have noticed weird framerate issues when there is lots of fire or lightning going on. I haven't changed any settings and never had this issue before so I'm not sure if it's my hardware or just the game. I know there have been other issues regarding areas not loading and whatnot but this seems a bit different.

If you are clearing a zone then take tp to town and come back for some reason fps will be slightly lower than before you left the zone , one fix works for me is disable dlss and reapply it on the spot fps go back to normal as if I never left the zone

Interesting, I wonder if this is what I am experiencing. I will keep a closer eye on this, thanks.

Sometimes some background colors flicker, like when equipping my merc. It usually goes away

I get the occasional crash but usually that's after the games been running for a long while. Not really seen any visual errors.

The way you describe it sounds like a heating problem, from personal experience I suffered a lot and crashed a lot but finally found a solution for CPU overheating to be exact. Let me know if you need help I can tell you my fix

If you can provide more details of your issue I can maybe get a better understanding and offer better help

I don't think it's an overheating issue, my PC is relatively new and totally spanks! The suggestion mentioned above, turning off DLSS and back on again seems to temporarily fix the issue, but it comes back after going to town. It's not a huge issue really, but I never noticed it happening before, and now I am noticing. Likely because I've been doing longer games hunting heralds and whatnot (I am guessing).

But basically what I see is sometimes stuff just looks like it's going too slow or fast for a second or two, then corrects. Seems like frames are slowing down then speeding back up. No crashing or anything like that though.

My response about overheating was about the other guy who said he is crashing, anyways the way you describe it sounds like a ping issue where you go slow motion and after 1 sec or less everything speeds up it's the games reaction to "catch up" with what's going on in the present because it lagged behind, if you get this issue on every game it is definitely an internet issue on your end. Given different servers have different ping so getting lag from all the games is unlikely

Thanks for your reply. Not heating, I got the same crash with my old PC as I do with a Brand new one. Game runs at like 10% CPU, 25% GPU.
