Accidentally consumed my pre patch Hephasto #$#*$&*#$#*#*#$
Ability to Consume your bound demon is the worst feature ever.
Was messing around with my hot keys on my controller looking for an unused one... found one that I forgot I use..

Can be used to make Runewords:

I find Consume to be very clunky, I hate fumbling around not to target my bound demon (also, since there's no timer for buffs, I always forget to reapply those)

Update. I just bound a tz regular Stone skin Black lancer instead. She seems super powerful also. She takes zero damage, less than heph (who didn’t have Stone skin). Also bound her on P2 by joining a random game, my heph was just P1.
Honestly, even when I had no replacement demon my warlock didn’t really miss heph even against t-5 heralds.

i feel like sometimes the bound demon goes like
"HMMM FOR NO REASON I WILL JUST RUN TOWARDS THE CURSOR RIGHT NOW"
as a fellow pre-nerf-hephasto-haver who can never ever get 20 Bind Demon (stuck at 19 maximum based on remaining levels) every time i Consume my demon it's like reaching into the kitchen sink drain to get a dropped fork out while my other hand hovers over the garbage disposal switch
I killed my pre patched heph because i accidently summoned a Goatman forgetting that i can only have 1 demon out at a time , oh well
It was heph with cursed and fanat.
I then went on my other warlock whose pre patch heph has Holy Freeze and curse, yet the curse does not proc like it used to, this tells me the patch did affect heph, since the curse feels like it procs at 5% like the patch stated?

Can trade on PC or SWITCH

Yes Holy Freeze doesn’t proc curse consistently anymore. I watched a video solution is either:d2rppa69 wrote: 10 hours agoI killed my pre patched heph because i accidently summoned a Goatman forgetting that i can only have 1 demon out at a time , oh well

A) hell witch from the dungeon portal in Frigid Highlands. She casts curse naturally, quickly, and consistently, especially if you tp into an enemy area or Death Mark her on top of an enemy.
B) unique Venom lord with multi shot using his Inferno
Of the two, a) seems better to me because it is one skill point vs 15. I haven’t tried myself but video was compelling
OP
On another note, anyone know how bound demon resistances work and if they are capped? My lancer has been taking zero damage. If I add up her resistances, she is at or over 95 against every element and also physical, but I don’t know if they get capped lower than that.
Anyone know ?
Anyone know ?
OP
Correction, physical is presumably 94 or more, depending on the source.
Lancer physical base resist (33% - 45% depending non source) + 11% from Blood Oath + 50% from Stone skin = 94-106%.
Elements are all over 100 with +20% from spectral hit and +73% from Blood Oath, regardless of the source on the base res.
Clearly it can't take you over 100, her only full immunity is lightning, which they start with.
Question is where does it Cap - 75, 95, or something else?
But she appears to be taking no damage, so I suspect it may be 95%.
That said, she should have by my calcs 87k hitpoints after Blood Oath, and so her regen is 833 hp/sec, so it would be hard for me to notice damage on her either way.

I don't know if Blood Oath increases bound demon's hp or not, but even it does, I doubt if the hp can reach 87k, since it has a hp Cap now. I read someone's post that Lister has hp at somewhere 20k-28k around. It may or may not be true, but I do notice that Hephasto has been beaten pretty hard after patch than before.varangium wrote: 7 hours ago......

OP
My calc was 4500*1.5 for P2 *13 for Blood Oath, based on the tool tip. I have maxed Blood Oath hard points, I think around 35-36 with soft points., +1280% life or something like that.
However, I tried letting her fight Andy on her own, and while she did just fine, I did see her health go down a bit. So she’s either taking more than 5% damage or she has way less than 87k hp. Or both.
You may be right on the HP, because the regeneration alone at 87k should have prevented any noticeable life loss.
Anyone know how to see your demon’s exact hit point count?

Similar witches are good for elementary Warlock. You just need to look for one casting Lower Resist. Letting your fire damage wipe stuff, either from Tainted or spells .varangium wrote: 9 hours agoYes Holy Freeze doesn’t proc curse consistently anymore. Do they exist? I couldn’t find any sources saying the witches cast Lower Resist. They cast Amplify Damage, Weaken, and blood manadionisy_cn wrote: 7 hours agoSimilar witches are good for elementary Warlock. You just need to look for one casting Lower Resist. My answer is no. I don't think hell witches and such have Lower Resist Curse; they have 4 curses, but not LR.varangium wrote: 5 hours agoDo they exist? The only monsters that cast Lower Resist are Oblivion Knights. They also cast Decrepify. But they also have some useless curses (Weaken especially, and while Life Tap might be useful for some builds it’s probably not what you want them to cast). And since the curse is randomly chosen and then they use mostly elemental missiles or bone spirit, I don’t think they’re very useful. But you can't bind them as they aren't demons.

Another option although you may need help from friends to get the numbers up. Cursed TZ p8 Venom lord, only requires 1 hard point.
Amp does not proc nearly as much as before (also mentioned above), but not much can be done about that.

You can't bind undead, can you? Or maybe I misunderstood what you are saying.ShadowHeart wrote: 2 hours agoThe only monsters that cast Lower Resist are Oblivion Knights. They also cast Decrepify. Flying Succbus in Hihlathak temple, on Lvl 3 where boss hides. You should've seen them. It has same sign over monsters heads as Lower Resist, lowest resists and breaks some weaker ones. If you have Sunder it increases your elementary damage.varangium wrote: 5 hours agoDo they exist? I couldn’t find any sources saying the witches cast Lower Resist. Great for both Warlock and Poison Nova Necromancer as a Revive. Especially after Necromancer have Enigma. Saves time to cast Lower Resist. Everything around is immediately cursed on arrival.
But you can call it Weaken if you like
You're right, you can't. I didn't even think about that when I wrote my post lol.Flyhorse wrote: 2 hours agoYou can't bind undead, can you?
