In my experience traderie is a very "mixed bag". Nonetheless I sell most of my stuff at this site because you can get really good deals for selling crafting materials and most other things, too. I also sadly do not get "semi high end stuff" sold here.

E. g. when I put an unidentified
Crown of Ages
,
Griffon's Eye
or
Death's Web
up for sale I mostly get them sold within a couple of days at traderie for 2
Jah
. Here it can take ages. Selling low runes and gems for a good price is also very difficult at diablo2.io. If you are a little patient you can get a
Jah
for 140-150
Perfect Gems
at traderie currently.

On the other hand in my experience many people there are very impatient and you need to have a thick skin to get along with the overall Spirit there. Yesterday someone made an offer for my
Perfect Gems
. I responded within one(!) minute the offer was placed. So far, I have not got a response and have now opened up the trade again.

After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)

Crown
of age ud. There , some people will try to get 15 30 by ud. The average roll of 15 30 in there is above 20
Jah
. The other side roll is around 70
Jah
in all possible chances. The buyers there are more rich and they understand buy 2
Jah
ud
Crown
of age is way to get rich but with some trouble selling back.

The
Crown
of age 2 os 29 15 is currently pricing around 1
Jah
, while other failure roll, it can be sell at diablo2.io. People enjoy cost performance here. You can say the not perfect all
Crown of Ages
sales volume is 70
Jah
vs peak mid roll 20
Jah
vs all peak that cannot use 140jah.

The not perfect 29 below resistance market is pricing between several
Perfect Amethyst
to
Ber
. The price may not looks good but mainly transaction is in this area.

Statistically , you should buy in ud
Crown
of age but people here feels ud is guarantee lost 1
Jah
every purchase. That is high lv market plays out.

Some craft material is have similar but worse chances, but people still buy in, that is because it feels loss small...(
Caster Amulet
, circle is around 3jah to get something looks have value with lost 2
Jah
)

Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.

I am not entirely sure what you want to say, but I do not play to gamble on getting "richer" or to acquire GG gear (my only max rolled items are selffound). E. g. with the 2
Jah
for a
Crown of Ages
I can buy 10
War Traveler
with 49MF or 20
Arachnid Mesh
and give them away to help new players.

buying ud and sell back not perfect can also help new player by reduce major market pricing.

Think of case, new player can easily get 10 2os 20 ar with few
Perfect Amethyst
in here diablo2.io. Performance is not too far away from gg.

And people help bring things here also get some reward , if pricing things that unreasonable here

Hard question: Which one should you buy..? 😁 (accidentally stumbled over this gem and thought it would fit in well here thematically 😉)

second is cheaper but if you really need, otherwise 2/20 is good enough

That's another common theme on Traderie, delusional pricing.

usually that glove sell above 15
Jah
, consider it is full dex str, that I will say 20-30 will be reasonable to sell...

this kind of item is very hard to sell, I have something similar, it cost 5 month to get sell at market and I end up reduce 20% pricing lower than average.

In this case, the average pricing is 25
Jah
.

I certainly wont pay it, 5full/6. it can lost to craft
Blood Gloves
.

Selling on traderie is like trying to get the loot in an eight player

I have been doing 17 trades on traderie so far and it's been a pleasure. I think 3-4 as buyer, about 14 sales. No scam attempts and one of my first sells the buyer gave me an extra
Mal
rune for some very low value items. The website can be pretty buggy though.

I had plenty of good experiences there. I use it for most of my trades. Sometimes people are afk or do not reply at all, but could also be because of their app, the app is sometimes buggy and isn't sending any notifications. I haven't been scammed yet, god thanks, but I had two unpleasant experiences with two users who were quite toxic, but this is the minority and happened only twice, 99% of the time it goes smooth and without any issues. Good thing is you can block people on the site, so you can weed the toxic ones out.

The search is much better than here but the pricing on most items is totally delusional, and people go bonkers if you aren't able to complete the trade within 30s of an offer being made

I have had a decent enough experience with Traderie. I strongly dislike the entire UI design, but you can't deny the functionality. Traderie is very much the superior choice for trading rare and crafted items due to the ability to filter for individual stats. It takes a bit of getting used to the UI though. I have written a little Javascript script to run in the console in order to filter out the ludicrous 10+
Jah
listings. That makes filtering for reasonable trades a bit more sufferable.

Another "discomfort" is the fact that most people on there are Asian, and they largely expect you to switch to their server, so expect to have to do that. I'm also pretty sure you are unable without premium features to list a superior base runeword without it being automatically listed as ethereal. I have tried multiple times. It's a niche case but quite annoying.

Another thing Traderie has going for it compared to
Io
is that you can more easily track your active offers and revoke them if needed. It is for me also the only of the 2 sites where push notifications work. I keep getting errors on here so I have to manually reload in order to see offers.

It feels a bit more reliable in terms of getting offers quickly for competitively priced listings. That may be due to the enhanced stat filters or due to a (presumably) larger Asian user base, or a combination of the two.

And another advantage is that you don't need to completely trash your Battlenet friends list just in order to trade with people.

So all in all it's about equal in terms of advantages and disadvantages for me. Recently, I like to go for Traderie if I want to list a high value item and I want a quick turnaround. For regular stuff I stick with
Io
.

Wanted to give them a fair shot while looking for a very niche item as the stat search and higher volume very much lend themselves to that.

Gave up after I couldn't even sign up because they don't know what a valid email looks like...

I prefer this site a lot but i do find things to move a lot quicker on traderie. There is a flip side to that like a lot of ppl have mentioned, that a lot of traders will cancel if u can't trade within 30 seconds

It is also UNUSABLE as a buyer unless you heavily utilize the block feature to filter out the many sellers that choose to spam their listings 100 times and completely crowd out all other listings, almost always for ridiculous prices 10x the market rate

I've heard that scamming is bad there as well. I've never been scammed here or on traderie, but it does sound like it's more prevalent there

sorry if i'm slow to respond here or on battle.net sometimes! you can always message me on discord @kerph for a quick response 😊
