Can be used to make Runewords:
I actually have spent weeks doing the 5-10 hours of farming, killed and horked 50-100 tier 5 herlads in 3p and gotten no sunder ever. It's just a good way to lose days of experience when they one shot you repeatedly
OP
I did a full Act 2 clear earlier today and saw a single Herald LOL bout to do an Act 4 clear and test my luck there.. note that I basically exclusively play on p1, on public bnet games. I prefer solo play but can't help but be constantly conspiritorial against pressing 'Play' or using a Private Bnet game having lower drop rates than solo public bnet games xDFlorian_G wrote: 22 hours agoI always play offline P8 and I got only three sunders out of 415 Heralds in total (193 of T5). Sometimes I draw an ire and I can't spawn a Herald in the entire zone and sometimes (only once or twice) I had FOUR ires in half a zone before the first Herald spawned.ajgibbens1805 wrote: 1 day agoAnyone else feel like heralds and/or drop rate has suddenly plummeted? Have done full Act clears and only seen one Herald, maybe two? I used to be able to get to T5 Heralds inside of an act clear?
Thanks! Maybe I just been some encouragment after having terrible luck the last week or so when running
haven't had much luck whatsoever since I got a Zod in Cows (iirc) a week or two ago
First time playing D2R.
Played during the 90d quota days on LOD

I am so upset that you can't spawn multiple D2R clients on one PCbearmonster wrote: 21 hours agoI actually have spent weeks doing the 5-10 hours of farming, killed and horked 50-100 tier 5 herlads in 3p and gotten no sunder ever. You can, if you have multiple BNet accounts, buy D2R on each one, and then follow one of the many guides on how to multibox. There are guides here on the forum, but you can find them on Google too.

Dunno, played whole ladder as long as I did and never found a single charm from the heralds. Im very tempted of playing just LOD instead next ladder. At least charms would drop.

Its not like they ban botters in the first place.
At this point why not just start botting. Its pretty much the same and give a lot less money to these c-nt of a developersShadowHeart wrote: 8 hours agoYou can, if you have multiple BNet accounts, buy D2R on each one, and then follow one of the many guides on how to multibox. Each bot still requires a unique BNet account and to have a copy of the game, so each bot = money to Blizzard. But sure, you can apparently buy cheaper game keys / licenses on some shady grey market sites, but I heard from someone (non-botter as far as I know, just someone who wanted to run multiple accounts and thought they could get away with for much cheaper than buying the game through the official BNet store) who tried using a grey market license and it got banned.
They do, just not all, and they definitely could do more. There were multiple ban waves last season and a couple this season (in fact, the first ban wave this season was the first hour of the season or something like that). Botters were publicly complaining about being banned. The maker of one of the more popular botting software for D2R was advising people to stop using his bot program temporarily when that first ban wave hit. But no ban wave catches all bots. And they'll just return eventually once they figure out how to circument whatever new countermeasure/detection Blizzard came up with.Semirotta wrote: 8 hours agoIts pretty much the same and give a lot less money to these c-nt of a developers![]()
Also, this is off-topic so let's not derail the topic further...

In the PTR, sunders can drop from any monster, even non-TZ, (just like a Gheed's Fortune). We still don't know if they'll keep that change for the live patch whenever that'll be final, but by the looks of it sunder charms will be far more common next season. Probably still more rare than the old sunders on LoD, but it should make a difference anyway.Semirotta wrote: 8 hours agoDunno, played whole ladder as long as I did and never found a single charm from the heralds. 2% is a very low rate ... meaning we're in a total rng.
My 2 cents :
- farming TZ as usual (rince and repeat),
- when you get 2 or more Herald in a single game Terrorize your fave act(s) (and pray
).
I don't play that much.
I think i have terrorized maybe 5 or 6 times act 1+2 and get between 10-15 heralds (5-10 T5) on average.
Got 2 sunders that way (apparently i've been, lucky reading comments ^^).
Another tactic : wait for next patch (did not try ptr but seems things will be very different ^^)

That is really great news! (I think? hope?)ShadowHeart wrote: 6 hours agoIn the PTR, sunders can drop from any monster, even non-TZ, (just like a Gheed's Fortune). All we can really do is wait for the changes and new ladder hopefully with it.
what is a Herald?
Just click on the word " Herald" in your own post (or in my post) and you'll get to an article about it that should explain it.
