For those who play D2 with their wives/partners, how did it start?

I got my then-girlfriend (now wife) the game but she only lasted until level 2. I'm a bit jealous of the dudes who get to play alongside their partners.

At least she gave it a chance. For all of 3 minutes apparently..

I failed long before that But at least I got her in the LotR and Star Trek universe
With my sons it was a fairly easy task

I just introduced mine to it a few weeks ago after a decade and a half not playing (when I realized they remastered and released an expansion!) and she's *obsessed* so we're playing together and it's giving all the dopamine!

It could be the case that our wives have an overlapping gene pool...

What I wana to say, it is very good to have another partners play with you.

In my case, my brother was play with his 2 friends . They arent very serious but play for fun. They were use same acc and play it like arcade game. Who dies, next people is up.

then after 10 season, I pick up their story.
My brother and I play occasionally. He is more likely a skillful player. I am more like a challenger or trader... we both have some fun in different things and sharing.
We both dislike uber game. At least he is dislike now. Run too many in s1. I am just not skillful to play that....die sometimes.

I would consider it a massive success if I could persuade my wife even to try to play for 10 mins.

Ouch. I feel your pain. Mine went from, "video games are OK as long as you don't play too much." to any amount of time greater than zero is too much and she is now, "morally opposed to video games."

I wish my boyfriend would play with me... but I've been playing with my brother for a while now, and it's super cool. He lives in another country so this is our way to connect with each other. It started when they released D2R

Hardest part for me is how to keep my daughter away from the screen when i play d2r She's 2 years now and we don't have much digital media besides pc and network tech. No smartphones, -watches, tablets, gadgets and whatsoever, not even a tv screen.
