Were you on this char and created this game fresh? Or did somebody else created/sharded in this game earlier?

TZ lvl is based on the game owner/creator so if that was someone else, your own lvl is irrelevant.

I think I know what happened, and let me explain:
- I created the game with a lvl 94 char and terrorized Act 1. It was TZ 96.
- I then died and wanted to go to another game to farm for a new demon (and return back after).
- I had a friend join the game to keep it alive (did not want to lose
Herald
progress). He was lvl 83.
- When I came back I cleared the rest of Act 1 and then terrorized Act 2 (as a lvl 94 char). But now that act was TZ 85.

So bottom line: It seems if you leave a game and come back, it resets "creation char lvl" to highest remaining player. And that lvl is NOT reverted back to a higher lvl even if you rejoin :(

To be honest, it feels a bit like a bug, rather than intentional.

What do you think?

Yeah, if the creator leaves, it drops to the next best person.

I'd call that intentional so as to avoid "high lvl creates for everyone" abuse.

Though I don't have enough Faith in blizz for that level of foresight so "coincidentally appropriate" is more like it.
