1st Time D Clone spawned in my game!

After all these years...

I saw the message pop up just before I hit the portal to do Terrorized Pindle, and there he was! Took a min to take him down, but with a fire/light immune Hephasto I had an ideal tank .

Anni isn't terrible at 18/12/6. Ironically I traded for one a few days ago that is marginally better.

I feel like something happened after killing him though...in terms of MF/drops.

Seemed like I was finding excessive duplicates of obscure, useless, and/or low-low level, items that I have typically not found previously; particularly in

Terror zones.

Since taking him down I've found...

Vamp Gaze, Drac's Grasp, Armor &

Helm of Horazon's set,

Measured Wrath,

Gore Rider,

Lava Gout,

Demonhorn's Edge,

Tal's

Helm, Trang's Armor, IK Armor, Spirit Shroud, Eye of Etlich and (3) skill charms; def aura, traps +34 life and demon skills. As well as some missing pieces to low level sets.

Has RNGeezus just temporarily been blessing me, or has anyone else experienced this?

Was it in the same game, or did you leave after D Clone and make a new game?

99% of all drops fall into this category. So do all items you named. Everything is normal.

Most of it actually was in the same game. I went and cleared a couple

Terror zones completely and then started after super uniques.

Kept the game open so I could watch a movie with the wife. But unfortunately got booted out of the game ~2 min before I was going to sit back down and play.

My luck does still seem to up since leaving that game though.

Lvl 89 warlock with 321% MF and I've been playing solo.

Last ladder I ended up often just leaving my toon in a game and then going to bed, waking up to find that EU had spawned Dclone. Then switched to NA and left him in a game while at work, a few times he would spawn.

The most joy is not paying attention and having that surprise spawn. About a week ago I did countess run, got to level 5 and what do I find instead of Countess but none other than Diablo himself. The absolute best experience was last ladder with a new character. I was farming Chaos, just got to first seal and all of a sudden there was Diablo. I was so confused at first as I only hit 1 seal, I thought for moment someone had come into my private game (with password!) and had hit the other seals without me noticing. How could Diablo be there, without hitting all the seals?. I was so weak, I had to try several characters, took me over 30 minutes to take him down.

Better new content would be to have had all the Ubers;

Izual, Lillith,

Baal, Meph, etc. do random spawns throughout the game, and just drop widgets that could be collected to spawn a new Uber type for the Sunders. SOJs sold spawn Diablo, Ravenfrost sold spawn

Baal, maybe a different mechanic.

I did have Dclone spawn a few times last ladder that were complete surprises, and the one a week ago at Countess. I love it, and wish these surprise spawns would happen more.

Or maybe the Uber Butcher that chases you when you need it the least.

My first time was when I almost maxed my Warlock out. I was doing a tower run didn't even pay attention to the text that pops up. I went it to kill

The Countess and was greeted by My Diablo.
It took me a solid hour of hitting, tping back for potions, repeat but I did it solo!
