I am speaking of NL. On ladder I suppose it is far less worth. But people are imo generally very interested in gambling for getting "style points"
Why would it be more expensive in nonladder? is this an item which cannot be dropped nonladder? just ladder found? I dont .know why else would it be that way.
I suspect on NL people have far more "Wealth" to spend on unnecessary stuff and to gamble in general. But I have no experience because I only play NL

Can't believe this non-ladder economy at the moment! Not sure If I am getting ridiculously lucky but recently sold a 17/18 Warlock torch for 19 Jah. Then today found a Sling Ring (bad role) but that still went for JahBerZod. And now just found this bad boy which may be worth 20-30 Jah!
I remember when D2R first came out, how many hours I had to play to get 2 Ber for my first Infinity. How times have changed...

Over the past years many people have accumulated quite some Wealth and now that they got something new to aim at, they are willing to spend those hundreds of Jah which are rotting in their mules Therefore, enjoy that you are getting such nice finds now. I am sure in a few months the prices will be only a fraction of what they are now. E. g. in 2024 I sold a Pala Combat Skiller with 44 Life for 80 Jah (sometimes they went for even more). Currently you get the same Skiller for 14-15 Jah.

Just popped a Jah in TZ Arcane Sanctuary (P1!), and popped some decent tri-res Boots right after. Arcane in general has been so amazing for me lately (even not TZ), it's actually wild. The charm drops alone I have seen in the past 24 hours. Two 11% Light res (1 with 5 FHR), a Demon skiller, and a Pcomb with 21 life. A bunch of other nice drops too, just too much to list.

Not exactly "self-found" luck, but funny enough story to share. Couple weeks ago I found my first COA ever. 2OS even. Last week I was pushing to get levels on my Warlock, so was joining Baalruns. Found a decent one, went about 10 games and it just stopped. The runner was just standing in town, then out of the blue it just dropped a 2os COA.
