But yeah, the expectation with the auto-parser is really more that folks are adding screenshots of actual item tooltips which it can then read out.
When it isn't a tooltip, it doesn't make much sense to include the scanner result as there are no real stats to worry about.
I guess listing out the gem counts/options would be a nifty outcome in this case, along the lines of "6x Diamond, 6x Emerald, 8x Ruby, ..." but that'd then go into proper image recognition and interpretation and all that jazz, well beyond just reading out the text.
But hey, if ever @Teebling gets too bored and wants a challenge...
