That was also my reaction to your incredibly hypocritical response, which is why I thought it was appropriate to fire it back at you. Unfortunately I don't think I was quite able to match the reddit mod energy you brought to the edit of my post, so the same effect might not have been captured. I found the part about not being triggered interesting, given that the topic only exists because people like you and the OP ARE triggered by people selling things for offer instead of listing price.

Responding to a post that was not a response to you. Reminder that YOU started this exchange, not me. By not following your own advice that you so generously gave to me in your original response. To a response that, once again, did not address or mention you in any way, and why? Because you didn't like my tone and felt I needed some kind of policing? And you're calling ME a narcissist? If the mods do come down hard, if they have any integrity, it should be on you and not me. You're pretending like you had an actual point to your original response to me, but if you actually were trying to do what you claim, you would have tried to de-escalate, or make some kind of actual statement about maybe using gentler language. Instead you reposted my post to be a snarky asshole, guaranteeing it would escalate into shit flinging.

That said, everyone is free to trade as they please. Within the rules that is. If people want to do the research up front and offer something with a stated BIN, that is fine. If people don't have the time or patience for that and would like to simply offer something up for trade and accept whatever offer ultimately "feels right to them", that is also fine.

Those who don't like trades without a BIN option are always free to simply move on to the next trade offer that does have one.
Is it somewhat annoying to see the thing you "want! now!" up for sale but not have a quick-buy option when you want it fast? Why yes, yes it is. But it is equally annoying for many to be expected to come up with a set price up front for everything. Ultimately, it is and remains the trade owner's choice and both sides of it could be (validly) argued pretty much forever, mostly using the exact same arguments for either side.
