Throw-Frenzy Barb duo advice - gear etc

I’ve long wanted to build a throwing barb, and my friend wants to build a Frenzy barb, and we decided to build some synergy to play these characters together. I have a perfect ethereal Warshrike and a decent Lacerator (non-ethereal, but I’m shopping around). A while back I found an ethereal Fleshripper that rolled 290 ED, so I’ve long wanted to pop a Zod in that bad boy and see it in action, so I’m giving that to my friend’s Frenzy barb.

Would really appreciate advice, input, or creative musings on some questions:

- Mercs:

• I’m currently planning on having a Pride on a Might A2 merc and a Faith on A1 merc. Is this the right (or at least a good) combo? Should we be looking more into Holy Freeze?
• If so, which merc with which barb? I would prefer the A2 merc with me because I need a meat shield for when I’m flying solo, but on the other hand, the attack speed of Fanaticism on the Faith is maybe redundant for the Frenzy dude?

- Frenzy Barb 2nd weapon:

• I’m pretty set on getting that Fleshripper in action, but what goes in his other hand? A Grief? A Lawbringer? A Last Wish (which opens up more A2 merc options)? Or a Beast (less Fanaticism than the Faith, but then we could get another a2 merc)?

- Body Armor:

• Me (thrower): I’m planning on Enigma on my thrower (mostly for the positioning b/c Teleport), but if there are better options I’m all ears.
• Frenzy barb: Chains of Honor? Fortitude? Other?

- Sunder Charms:

• I do have two Bone Breaks (11 and 12%, from LoD, not the new latent/renewed craziness) - should we both use these, or can we comfortably rely on just the Amplify Damage from my Lacerator?

- What other variables should I be aware of / what does this make you think about?
I’m not absurdly wealthy, but I can afford to trade around for a decent item here or there (e.g. making a Last Wish would be a major hit to my tradeable “net worth,” but I could do it if it's worth it).

We haven’t spec’d for these builds yet (I’m Whirlwind ing my way through early NM with a Heart Carver haha), but we’re getting close (I’ve got a pair of Deathbit ready to start throwing when I’ve got the proper gear).
