Description

My apologies if this a rookie question, but I couldn't see anything obvious about this posted.

How do people typically handle high volume trades, i.e. trading more items than can fit in the trade window? Especially now that RotW allows us to more easily have lots of
Perfect Gems
and runes in our stashes, I can see more such trades happening.

For example, let's say someone posts that they're offering a
Jah
for 200+
Perfect Gems
. How is that typically handled, since I can only put 40 gems in the trade window? Would you do like 40 at a time with some collateral (e.g. I trade you 40 Pgems for a couple of
Ist
runes, and then we repeat that until a final trade where I give you the last gems and your
Ist
back for the
Jah
you originally offered)?

I've traded with a few people on this site whose trust level is in the thousands, and depending on the item I feel comfortable just drop trading with them. Outside of that scenario, what is typical and/or best practice?

If you know/trust them just drop-trade to make it easy.

If you don't, either stick to smaller trades that can be done in the window. Or break a larger one up into smaller ones, such as "5x 40 for
Vex
then 5
Vex
for
Jah
instead of 200 for
Jah
". (Don't quote me on the
Vex
as equivalent, arbitrary example,
Ohm
or whatever might be more suitable, can't be bothered to look up the pricing ^^)

You can only trade those with review >500 and no obvious negative review. Other case, please just ignore it.

I have trade a guy, he drop gems normally, bit in the end, he take last bit of rune without paying
Perfect Gems
. When I go back check his review, there are some negative feedback there.

Perfect Gems
trade, either make it small or do it with after-review.

If you arent sure, the fewer review guy have to drop first.

Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.
