So I have picked up 99 Ort runes in my Ladder career so far. I don't know what to do with them. I could just toss them out or sell them to Charsi, but momma always told me that all the runes I throw away, I end up having to deal with them when I go to hell for the sin of wastefulness. Is there a fun way to make use of the excess Ort runes? Perhaps I could cube all these up, but the very next step (cubing Thuls) requires a mass amount of Chipped Gems...
Perhaps I will make a Mosaic of Ort runes on the Ground and take a screenshot, so that it's not technically a waste.

well, you can decide to give dome of them to charity. or to any early-ladder-player in need. like me

You can use Ort rune and the Horadric Cube to repair your weapon. So you may start using some super expensive to repair non- Eth weapon. lol

If you enjoy being disappointed, you could craft 73 pairs of hitpower gloves like i just did and get absolutely nothing usable. The crafting system in this game is atrociously bad, but that's a topic for another day.
I usually use them roll a Blood Weapon Winged Axe or Safety Boots War Boots, depending on which pgem I have more of at the time.

But recommend to directly dump into market in exchange to what you want.

idk why not just cube them up, if you got that many Ort runes I feel like odds are you got more than enough Chipped Gems of all kinds

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a Safety Amulet in my life. What's the benefit in crafting one?

Well I wouldn't quite say that. Amn is useful for socketing base weapons, and for CTA, and for a Strength Cutlass.
