Worldstone shards & Statues
So today I found out that even Elite bosses can drop Worldstone shards in TZ, I thought only the Heralds were able to drop those... So what are the Heralds good for? Higher loot drops?
So to my question to all of you who have probably played more RotW than me, can an act boss drop the statues ( Andariel, Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo, Baal ) even on a rotating TZ or only by using the shards to TZ the whole act?

I play RotW non-ladder SC only, from EU but can trade in all regions
All act bosses can drop statues when TZ, rotating or induced. Shards can dop from any elite unique or super unique regardless if TZ or not. Heralds are sought after because they are currently the only mob which can drop Sunder Charms.
After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)
Time Zone: UTC/GMT +1/+2 (Germany)
Online workdays: casually from 07:00-09:00 pm
Online weekends: casually midday to evening
Non-Ladder | Softcore | Expansion

Heralds are the only ones that can drop the new sunders but just after u spawned the 4th in one game chances are low af
and the worldstone shards can drop everywhere not sure if u need to unlock tz first or just be in hell
btw the bosses were at least yesterday bugged and dropped statues they shouldn't I got 3 act 4 statues from Andariel yesterday

the big problem is Korlic.... Korlic's Pain is somehow tied to Duriel m'fraid. That filthy worm dropped only 1 for me to this day. Sunder charms can drop even froma a T1 Herald but... chances are something ludicrous. It's all about that Desecrated treasure coming with terrorized zones. Cooley uploaded a 4 minutes video on youtube if someone wanna check.
I've found praying for Andariel to drop a wrong statue (5% of her statue drop!!) is the easier way to get Korlic's Pain. I'd also bet on Mephisto's wrong statue if it weren't for the dang dolls.
Another pain is Worusk's End because of the forced wait time in Baal waves... It's not exactly long, but considering the time limit it's agonizing to sit through. Gah.

Here's a tip to finding Duriel's correct tomb that I learned from speedrunners. Go to Arcane Sanctuary and find Horazon. Once you find him look at the sigils that are on the walls around him. That's what I have been doing, and I know boosting 1/7 chance of getting the right tomb to 1/4 chance of getting the right corner is a massive improvement, but it's still unpleasant. Like... gah. That feel when there are 3 minutes left and I find out that The Summoner is hiding in the *fourth* direction of Arcane Sanctuary.

I have confirmation from a reliable streamer/d2r player that the sunders can drop from any level of Herald, even the first one. Another question about Sunder Charms, I have 1 of each perfect 70% in my stash. You have to find a Renewed Sunder Charm to reroll it. I think you may have that backwards? Heralds drop Latent Sunder Charms, and then you roll them into Renewed Sunder Charms. Unless I miss read you? Apart from that yes, you cannot roll a Legacy D2R Sunder Charm into a Renewed Sunder Charm.

You need to find a latent sunder to roll it into a renewed.
The old pre-RotW sunders can't be used. Sadly.
