Defilers kick ass. Indeed, it feels weird to have only one strong summon, but when you have 13 points into Defilers, your BFD (=Big Fuckin Demon) just one-hits the whole screen on /p1.

Hel, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than

It definitely works as a build. Though come tele it gets a bit more annoying as they keep linking the "wrong" mobs as you skip past.
But yeah, with 2 of 3 summons really just being passive support, I'd consider a defiler lock about as "summoner" as a sin with a

Shadow Master or a zon with a valk. He's just not.

To be honest, it never felt like a summoner. It felt like having a teleporting bomb in your hand. I definetly go back to my Druid after this ladder.

All in all, I am totally not impressed by the Warlock class. Just way too easy and kind of meaningless grinding gear for him. Running self found up to hell was a cakewalk.

After two weeks of playing he is stronger than most other classes. I didn't respec once, have some wrong skills and my best item is a Spirit.

I wouldn't say boring. It does come with a fun playstyle in many a build. Though I, too, will keep my Druid a summoner over a lock being one, despite it being significantly worse.

Locks are just blatantly OP in damn near every build and at pretty much any gear level. They should've never been released in the current state of (utter im-)balance (streamer playtesting ftw... ~~). But working under the (likely very naive) assumption that Blizz will tune some things there still, looking beyond the balance, it does offer some fun and entertaining builds.
