Description

Just found one, staff mods are +2 to Frozen Orb and Glacial Spike, so not a candidate for Obsession.

I already have a ebotd Great Poleaxe, which i think is the BiS for a Fury Druid - or at least better than an Archon Staff.

Would it be useful for a barb?

I do offline ssf, no PvP

Thanks all

Can be used to make Runewords:

Slower but better avg damage, and the damage is also consistent.
Eth botd Archon Staff needs only 18Str.
I don't see why GP is better

pm me here (d2. Io) for trade

OP
I’d read the speed and weapon range made it better… but yea if you max the ias you’ll probably still be at similar breakpoints - though i haven’t run the numbers yet.

I believe it's an excellent base for eDeath if you get 5os. And I believe eBotD is not bis for Fury since there's so many better options like Reaper's Toll, Tomb Reaver etc including eDeath on 2h weapons like Decapitator and your Archon Staff as long as they are all Eth.

I'm using an ethereal Archon Staff with botd on my Fury druid and am pretty happy with it. According to maxroll.gg "1) Breath of the Dying made in an Archon Staff provides the Fury Druid with close to the highest overall DPS along with the most consistent damage. This maximizes his one-shot potential and Life Leech in most scenarios." from Fury Druid Gruide

Any thoughts about using Archon Staff botd on warlock?

For attack Warlock there are better options for Breath of the Dying ( Thunder Maul)
But caster Warlock would like that for Obsession ;-)

I have a better option for attack warlock for now. It’s Eth Ondals with protectors Stone + Phoenix. It gives me 20xp, 125 fcr, 300 + mf and 77k damage with Pride merc. But I’m curious how good would be archon botd with such a good plain average damage.
