Diablo 2 was $60 in 2000, and the expansion was somewhere around $35 in 2001. If we adjust that for inflation to 2021 (when D2R came out), then it comes out to $145. That makes it seem like the $40 price for Resurrected was low, if we look at it from a content stand point. Development might have been easier due to the story, acting, and gameplay already being in place, but they still had to rewrite the engine to get 60 fps, and remake all of the 3D graphics from scratch. And despite how modern Blizzard has handled other games, they really nailed D2R.
I think some of the "deal" between the players and blizz is that we are paying them to put in proper development with new itemization and balance, and not just toss out a patch with questionable runewords (Mosaic!). To me, there are some smaller, but still pretty bold, changes to the game that I'm finally glad to see. Can't be frozen Boots, two unique rings with FCR, 2-handed weapons becoming viable, and so on. If $25 is the price we pay to get D2R out of maintenance mode, then so be it.

your picture is all market combine, the op is more focus on LoD non warlock.
the d2r LoD is dead in some part, especially jewel trade that can replace by new jewel.
Even original LoD doesn't have those jewel but the old jewel market value is ruin. So does to craft market ,except amulet.
Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.
