Speaking of tiers..does the tier of the next Herald increase after a successful kill? Or is the spawn sufficient? And is that tied solely to spawn timing or also ire timing?
E.g. say you proc 2 ires back to back.
You then convert 1 and get a T1 Herald.
You kill that, keep exploring and get a 2nd Herald from the 2nd ire you already had before the 1st one even spawned.
Is that 2nd Herald now still T1 because the ire hit before the 1st spawned or died or is it T2 because T1 died before it spawned?
And if both get spawned back to back without killing either, are both then T1 or is the spawn of one T1 enough to upgrade the other to T2 already?
Nothing but questions on this whole thing..
Given how difficult Tier4 & Tier5's are to kill, especially for my Hardcore brethren out there, i'm not sure if Post Tier5 kill, if it resets to Tier1. I don't have enough Insight there yet, and I imagine the market doesn't either? Maybe?
And maybe most importantly:
What's the lvl and XP of these different tier heralds? Are they a viable lvling strat?
tl;dr - you need to kill to increase the Tier.
Funny you ask and something we would put in the video. Guess who now has the highest Quality Unique Factors in the game now that Andariel was nerfed? Ding Ding Ding, they are at 989 Factors. When you combine that, with the Tier4/Tier5's dropping guaranteed items + additional items, it can make them an interesting item chase consideration.
Heralds Tier 4 and 5 can drop 4 items (weap/armor) + Sunder + Shard. But remember Sunder Treasure Class has huge no drop 23899, so many times it wont drop a Sunder. In that case, Heralds Tier 4 and 5 can drop 4 items (weap/armor) + Shard + a Potion. They always drop(pick that is) from these treasure classes. They have a pretty good chance to drop TC87 uniques. As Pavke, noted, "new Herald treasure class is very well done and masterfully put together."
Could you clarify the offline vs online thing? I've seen this in the last 24 hours and am trying to make sure I'm clear.
Is it accurate that sunders can not drop from t1,2 or 3 heralds offline?

Mixed reports - some people "claim" on reddit they did; others haven't seen it outside of Tier4+.

IMPORTANT. there is a condition in game files that makes Sunder charm drop only from Tier4 and Tier5. That is confirmed for Offline single player games. But reports suggest Sunders can drop from Tier1. Possibly a difference between Live online patch and Offline patch.
So the question on the above is, was this intentional? Possibly given offline has the /playersx command which help Sunder NoDrop so thus, they gated behind Tier4/Tier5. But my comment is speculative to be clear.

haha no problem! Pavke and a few of us aren't 100% sure. We are just making possible educated guesses. Possible they missed it, and forgot to adjust. Or it is fully intentional. But the tcex tables demonstrate as of now, for offline, that a Sunder will not drop from any Tier by 4+.
