RotW - Smiter Target Swapping?

Profuse apologies in advance for barking.

Just wandering if anybody has had issues with target swapping while smiting? I did a handful of torches and noticed that it was really hard to keep

Smite on target, especially when surrounded by lots of minions. Feels kind of like how

Zeal works normally.

I was definitely keeping the mouse steady on one of the Ubers. Don't recall this being an issue for me before.

I've been facing this issue as well. Keeps changing target randomly.

Yes. I did 2 uber runs with my smiter and cannot lock onto

Mephisto even while holding the mouse button down on him. The same issue happened with Diablo and

Baal too.

Having loot filtered items displayed via toggle kills sticky targeting.

Hit your loot display

Key again to toggle off/hide everything and you can stay on target again.
Far from ideal but sadly the new reality.

This used to be an issue prior to the loot filter where having items shown could kill your targeting.
Turning it off and on again tended to fix it back then.
Now, off and on just instantly re-breaks it. Keeping it off seems to be the only option.

yes, same here.

Baal almost killed me whil i was doin ubers, had a hard time targeting him.

keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the Ground.

Thanks every one for confirming. Was getting a bit worried that it might be a skill issue...

Just to mention, I had this problem during

Colossal Summit, and I had no looted items displayed whatsoever. Plus I play PS5.

So I assume this is a deeper issue?

Are you sure the toggle was off?

You don't need to have items there and visible.
As soon as the toggle to display them is turned on, even if there are 0 items anywhere and nothing shown, the targeting breaks.

Yes I don't use toggle, I have to press and keep pressing a button to show items, and I had this issue the 4 times I did the event.

See, I recorded, you can check I lost target lots of times.

Edit: Actually, I am not sure I am noob or I've been losing target (Cause I play this character only to kill ubers, I might be doing something wrong, or expecting it to do something it won't).
