Is the %ED/MinMax damage bug in non-weapon items fixed or still buggy?

With the addition of

Protector's Stone to the jewel roster, every single one of those will now bug any non-weapon socketing.

Still true? Any source of it being fixed in RotW maybe? I want to socket a

Jalal's Mane with one but I feel like it will be a tiny bit wasted. On the other hand what weapons are useful enough and aren't runewords, so they can be socketed?
And don't tell me eldritch warlock. I want to buff my barbarian/druid, not the most OP class of them all.

I did some research earlier, my conclusion is ED is not working in that jewel if you socket in non weapon.( new jewel is max+min damage)

So you only need to look into phy resistance.

Before they post new release patch note .

Case 9: You socket an item with a %ED +Min & +Max Jewel.
Example: you have a

Diadem with 30% faster run & walk and 3sox, you socket a +30%ed +10min +18max dmg jewel.
Bugged! The %ED doesn't have any effect at all, as it will not apply to either your overall min or max dmg (worst case scenario)!

As in you tested that yourself, or saw someone else testing it? Because the info you posted is what was true before RotW, which is what this post alludes to.

you have to test it, no, I am not sure about it in version RotW. Because blizzard blue post does not mention fix.
And I havent see anyone test it in new world. Probably you are second one care about this.

if it fix, the old rare jewel....well no change.

As for google search before 15 Feb, no, no one test it, no related info in google AI show evidence of test result.
