ED min max bug and new jewel - Protector's Stone

My understanding for this is the bug isnt fixed yet.

I look into this jewel to consider the value of jewel in

Helm vs current 18 min 7 fhr 9 dex jewel. (It was sold 3 x coin, 20/5, around 100

Jah, 30 usd, around price of DLC)
+10 Min , +30 Max, 7 phy resistance , 50 ED
That the problem occur to me, this Pattern looks familiar....
Does this mean that ED is not work in this jewel due to worst case scenario?
Even if ED is not working, this jewel still beat up current best jewel in '

Helm' socket....Assume physical build only have

Helm socket available in most popular build. phy bow amazon,

Zeal paladin,

Frenzy/ww bar.

If any have luck to see this, hope he can understand that 30-50 ED is actually no function. Makes this jewel only look into physical resistance reduction...
or is this fixed? Or does this jewel function differently than max min ED story?

Case 9: You socket an item with a %ED +Min & +Max Jewel.
Example: you have a

Diadem with 30% faster run & walk and 3sox, you socket a +30%ed +10min +18max dmg jewel.
Bugged! The %ED doesn't have any effect at all, as it will not apply to either your overall min or max dmg (worst case scenario)!

so someone please correct me if i am wrong but the ed bug is only with MAX DAMAGE and ED together on the

Helm slot still just counts for "offhand" weapon damage.

This case only happen in ED and max-min damage.

Not sure about new jewel but...the bug is not fix yet. My guess , new jewel is not work well. (ED not work at all, only - phy resist work)

i think it will because it says "adds xx damage" so it just adds the damage after. no risk of the ED just amping up the flat damage on the

Helm

but add xx damage, in Grief,
it is add damage before ED and combine with weapon damage, right?

I remember Grief can get benefit from ED.

I think again,

if it does not take ED, it add some physical damage and not ampify multiple. Result = ED work but max-min will be very small. Result in smaller damage because it is not Grief.

if it perform like Grief, it will bugged . Result = No ED. But damage is bigger because it add in like Grief.
