Your transition strategy to RotW

Hi folks,

I am still pondering what I should transition to RotW - especially concerning trading and DClone appearences. E. g. it seems traderie has not yet a filter for RotW and all traders I encountered so far were still on the expansion. Therefore, my current thoughts are for now to only transition my high lvl play chars (maybe except for my DClone hunter) and leave everything I potentially want to trade with expansion mule chars. On the other hand, having a very strong ordering compulsion disorder I want so badly get as many runes, gems, tokens etc. to the new stashes and delete my mules...

Any further thoughts and suggestions are very welcome.

I recommend you leave some rune you might use in d2r purchase. lets say, 100

Jah or 4 small charm or 25% but still

Jah is favor because you need use it to buy small things. it should able make you through this transition phase. Usually, my spending behavior, 100 can make you through 6-9 month. by then , everyone should on the other side.

Perfect Gems still have support in charms use re-roll. But for rare circle, jewel ,

Perfect Skull need is almost halfed or zeroed.
People may think of use magic circle + f/l/magic resistance craft.

Perfect Ruby, I am not fully understand, but use case for

Blood Ring and

Blood Boots may no longer exist.

Blood Gloves, hard to say. may still work.

New unique ring, +100 resistance lv 95?

Overall, rare circle , rare jewel reroll is almost zeroed.(

Perfect Skull)
blood craft, beat up by new unique ring, at least 70% use case no longer exist.(

Perfect Ruby)
charm re-roll, different but I dont know how it changes. 5 resistance charm may not valuable as it used to be but new things may replace its seat. People may need different style charm . If so, some may need to buy more

Just keep the items in Expansion and transfer them to RoTW if you need to make a trade. Covers both bases then.

I think I’ll keep most stuff in expansion, and just move things “on demand”, as M1ck says. But I’m still trying to process what to do with all my annis.

Jah or 900 anni, JUMP!

Transfered all my low runes, gems, etc, on day 1. Along with some post-season Spirit rerolls and crafting, I went from 14 mules to just 3.

Left HRs and all stuff that I have put on Traderie, while also adding an account description that all my items are D2R and can transfer to DLC on request.

Trading has been 50/50 D2R/DLC.

As for annis and torches, no reason to touch them unless you either have a trade or want to use them - just have 1 character slot open to create a D2R to DLC transfer mule when needed, delete when done.

With that approach you have more space on DLC stashes (ie. effective 8 stashes)

Gonna leave 1 Dclone capable toon on D2R for at least a season just in case.

Moved everything and called it a day.

Can't be bothered dealing with 2 versions, I just want to play in Peace.

I just transferred all my online characters. Rip the band-aid off basically. I don't want to deal with multiple realms. I haven't moved my single player stuff yet, but will once the dust settles a bit.
