Can be used to make Runewords:

I would preffer a dedicated inventory page just for charms, so you can keep the normal one for items only.
it looks so retarded watching people fill the inventory in skill charms and then look completely retarded when picking item dropping it into cube and then identify it lol.

I preffer to leave 2 polearms worth of space in inventory for loot.

Stash space is not really needed, we need larger inventory.
That would probably ruin balancing because if how many extra charms you could hold.

Usually looking for Runes, Essences, PGems, Tokens, Keys, etc.
Always willing to discuss and negotiate :)

Before adding me on bnet, please comment on the trade so I know who you are!

Right, larger inventory would not mean more space for farmed items, but for charms, because power > convenience.

We could have dedicated charm inventory, separate from the main one. Path of Diablo and Project Diablo 2 mods do this:

Better yet, remove charms altogether. Or at least all magic charms (keeping only unique charms). I dunno if magic (non-unique) charms were really a good idea to begin with…

Just imagine a would-be hero running around with 20 charms in a huge pouch hanging around his neck. It would be so large and heavy he could probably kill monsters by hitting them over the head with it. Or maybe not. :P

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

could be easily fixed by having a charm inventory like the gear screen, slots for 3 grand charms, 3 small charms and anni/torch. none of this thing we have now of filling the whole inventory in charms.

We have mules already. I use the shared stash tabs as space to fill before moving the items to my mules.

We could easily replace mules with new namable tabs. Example : you have too many mid-runes, you create a new tab named "Midrunes1", and you fill it up. There's no big difference between that and the mules mechanic.

But to be honest, I find the mule management quite charming in an old-school way. It feels clunky, but there's some skill involved to manage it.

Same with the char inventory and the charms. It's part of the core essence of Diablo 2. It also forces the player to balance between inventory space and more power through charms.

I wouldn't mind buying more cells, like in most mmo games, only for 9.99 $ -_-

I would pay for more stash. why? blizzard needs to monetize the game in some way to continue supporting it. introducing quality of life changes is something that will never hurt, but by paying for it, we will get some developers time to potentially do other patches and updates

D2R is a nostalgic game where there are only former D2 players. There are very few players who have never played LOD.
These players do not have the profile of those who are interested in P2W (with the possible exception of the Chinese) because they are too old for most. The P2W is very much related to the age of the players.

It’s been a long time since there has been an update, and the team in
Charge
of D2R is almost non-existent.
And it’s not a few dollars that will change anything.

Today’s Blizzard is not the one from the time of LOD in the early 2000s with its passionate teams.
And there is no signal indicating any change of direction in this wish to do Blizzard from D2R and these are not some paid features that will change anything.

And again, we already paid the game so there is no reason to pay again to continue to play.

My timezone is CET/UTC+1.

Thank you. I entirely agree with you

I would hate to find microtransactions in D2R. It would be strong enough to send me back to D2 LOD and never look at D2R again

D2LOD existed for 25 years without microtransactions, they would be super misplaced in D2R

Even though the game doesn't officially have microtransactions, RMT has "always" been a part of D2, and still is to this day. D2jsp, which has been around for over 20 years, allows you to buy "forum gold" with real money, and the forum gold is then in turn used in trades. Sure, you don't buy items directly with real money, there's no requirement to make any purchase to use the site and trade there (you can start from 0 and build up your forum gold simply by trading items you've found) and I'm fairly certain the majority of d2jsp members (or at least a substantial portion of the userbase) never paid them any actual real money, but fact remains that you can pay for FG with real money and then trade for items with FG. It's just an intermediary virtual currency. Kind of like virtual currencies in free-to-play mobile games, in a way. And besides d2jsp, there's several RMT sites for D2R where you can purchase items directly with real money transfers. I'm sure you've all seen the spam messages in the lobby chat, and bots whispering you with advertisements? There's several such sites advertising their services in-game. New ones pop up now and then. They wouldn't exist if there wasn't a market. Who are the buyers? I've no idea, but the point is - even if Blizzard doesn't provide an official way to buy anything in-game, the players 'solved' this long ago, and the market exists.

Note: I'm not hating on d2jsp or anyone using it. I do however find the idea of buying for FG with real money and being able to use FG from previous ladder seasons to buy items in the new season against the spirit of the game, but that's an entirely separate discussion.

Websites selling items for realm money exist on every online games and are fed by bots.
Don't legitimate trash websites with greedy people ruining the game economy.
We are talking about paid features, not items shop.

Remember what was D3 before auction house remove.

I also willing to pay very small to enjoy of game.

Not farming all day or boting all day to get cash in game.

The boting, you have to calculate your electric
Bill
which they often ignore.

The game like this, you only need to pay like 5 dollar once then you can have almost all and rush run for 8 hr.

It will be very convenient for people who wish to play 20 year old thing quick and don't want to spend too much time.

Think about mobile game today, 5 dollar...it is just 1 pack purchase, today's mobile game, you usually pay 1000 dollar per year and not enjoyable and not strong enough. that is like 2500
Jah
here. I am sure that money you can sweep regular items day(not super good low performance peak thing) and day without need to stop.(I look back bills what I pay last year, it was around 1500 usd. and it is consider tiny compare to others. That I dont feel good and too much fun, but I feel much better here. Monthly, very small play, 90-120)
