Eth Colossus Vouge dropped with no sockets. They have a high strength requirement but being

Eth lowers it from 210 to 200. I decided not to waste a socket quest on it but since there's a 1 in 4 50% chance to get 4 sockets, I decided to cube it instead, and got the 4 sockets.

The socket cube recipe rolls a number between 1 and 6. If it rolls a number higher than the max number of sockets you can get in the item, then it just gives you the max sockets. So, with a CV, which can only have 4 sockets, you have a 50% chance to get four sockets with the cube. On the other hand, with a

Thresher, which can have 5 sockets, you only have a 1 in 6 chance to get 4 OS.

Ber, from a random lootable object on the way to the first super chest.
That was nice, probably the most rune value i found in a 10 hour session ever

Chaos Sanctuary run, then a

Baal run. During

Baal, I died to souls on the 2nd floor twice and got mad, got my corpses, and skipped to the throne room, which was also filled with souls AND dolls. I'm teleporting around like crazy in front of

Baal's throne, dropping blizzards randomly, and suddenly, from a dissolving soul, a

Cham drops. First one I've ever dropped in D2R, including all my SCNL characters (at least to my recollection).

Surprisingly, I didn't die and tele'd around for 10 more seconds before having the wherewithal to open a TP.

Wish I could split this puppy into 2
