Is Metamorphosis still Ladder only?

I'm wondering if Metamorphosis is still ladder only as quite a few of my friends have told me that they've made it on non-ladder characters, and I'd rather not waste a

Cham rune trying to find out myself if it is not. Can someone verify if it is or not? I'd really appreciate it.

are still ladder only.

However, you can do them on off-line play
