In special:
- Uniques that are commonly used by Merc (like Andariel's Visage and The Reaper's Toll), as items do not lose durability on Merc.
- Uniques weapon that are BIS for some attack builds, so it worth to spend a Zod on them (like The Reaper's Toll for Fury Druids)
- Uniques that have repair affixes, so in this case ethereal is only upside (like Sandstorm Trek )
- And, not much search for this case, unique weapons that are not used for attack builds (like Eschuta's Temper) or unique weapon/shields used only on swap (like Lidless Wall, used for builds that don't want to spend str enough to use a SpiritMonarch), as they will never lose durability (some players like ethereal in those cases mostly for style and in some cases because of the lower str/dex requirement)
Skullder's Ire ethereal is very good, Death Cleaver ethereal has excelent market value, especially after adding a Zod rune, Rune Master ethereal 5 socket has great value also.
As mockingbirdreal said, many ethereal uniques are used in PvP and have high value if well rolled like Toothrow.
Some PvP players are even using ethereal unique items without Zod.
In general, unique items giving chance of deadly strikes and/or open wounds are valuable as ethereal if almost perfect, if not perfect.
Edit : you can add Ribcracker whitch is doing high damage if ethereal and upgraded.
