But not in the stash update links, which i most definitely used to make my updates.

When someone has selected an item which is no longer available but there are corresponding items (same unique, same rune word, same set item), which is likely because they haven't manually updated their build for the new round, I will substitute it with one of the same that is still available (for rune words, I'll use one with the same base if possible, if not, I'll go with closest next option).

In this case, the last winner had an

Archon Plate Fortitude selected as his merc armor but all

Archon Plate Fortitude were all already gone actually (the last one grabbed in the round just before, and AnonMoose22979 hadn't updated between rounds 8 and 9). For this reason, he missed out on a merc

Helm because he had a Cure selected while there was none left (and I don't substitute one rune word for a completely different item), but for the Fortitude, there were alternatives so I gave him the

Dusk Shroud instead (the

Archon Plate he had selected wasn't ethereal, just like the

Dusk Shroud wasn't). Currently there are no low-strength non-ethereal Fortitudes available (I think all of those have been used up as merc armor).

I will likely re-add some non-ethereal Fortitude later. I meant to do so already, but I ran out of

Sol runes and didn't have more time to work on it (I needed to post the new round and go AFK for a bit).

Well, no, that's too late now, sorry!
The idea is to encourage people to keep their builds up to date with items that are still on the list. If you don't then there's the risk of losing out on a gear slot (or multiple - there are a few participants who haven't updated in a while and currently have several voided slots unless they come back to update). You're not alone though, several winners before you have missed out on an item, I just haven't been pointing it out before. I get it, it takes a bit of effort to keep builds up to date. It's not to be mean, it's just part of the game
