Request fulfilled Skill Trees

Description

Hello Teebling,

I may be mistaken, but while each skill has its own entry in the database, I don't remember to have seen the Skill trees themselves - not that they are complicated to find in Google Images, but still...

Would it be possible to add them, typically in the Database -> Skills sections ? They could be Linkable from every time they are mentioned in the Skills themselves.

It's especially useful when you are not sure to remember the cross dependencies and synergies globally instead of going skill per skill.

Thanks !

The listed damage values for many skills seems to be quite off. As I was playing around with the (very exciting) new feature,
Enchant
,
Nova
and
Holy Fire
were all inaccurate by at least one order of magnitude.

All trades are Switch only :)

@Aelwyn can you help me fix this by being more specific? For example at level X it's showing X-X damage but it should be Y-Y damage?

By order of magnitude do you mean off by 1-2 or off by hundreds?

Which source are you using for the comparison? In-game tooltip?

This could be related:
bug-reports/skill-tree-tool-elemental-d ... 65710.html

Also, for
Enchant
, as I'm sure you know, double-dips into
Fire Mastery
. Once on cast, and once more when calculating actual attack damage. I'm pretty sure Teebling designed the Skill Calculator to calculate the tooltip damage - which means
Fire Mastery
is only applied once, ie the fire damage that is added to your attack and sums with all your other sources of +fire damage (
Fire Mastery
then boosts all fire damage from all sources on top of that, not just
Enchant
).

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

Even disregarding the lack of double dip, the calculation was off. But that bug would explain it, yes.

You could make a bug report specific to
Enchant
and report the values you have observed and what they should be?

But like I also said - all elemental skills are bugged past level 29 as reported in the link I provided. That might be the other part of the explanation for the discrepancies. So might want to wait until Teebs has worked that one out.

Yep, pretty sure that's the reason for the discrepancies I'm seeing. Thanks!

Quick test of
Enchant
, maxing it,
Warmth
and
Fire Mastery
.
And then add Tree skills. Up to +8 it seems fine at 1106-1365 dmg.
But if you go to +9, suddenly it says dmg is 70-89.

Nova
does the same thing at +9 to skills.
Holy Fire
resets damage(almost back to as if it was 1) at +13 to skills. Sanctuary the same. And
Holy Freeze
and
Holy Shock
.
FoH seems to reset Ltng damage at +9 as well. But the
Holy Bolt
damage for FoH does not seem affected?

Well, a bug has definitely snuck into the code somewhere. All or most skills causing specific damage seems affected.

Oh,
Volcano
is looking extra troublesome... Non-fire damage resets at +3(ie 23 total), while fire damage resets at +9 like the others.

I don't think it's a coincidence that slvl 23 and slvl 29 are when skills begin consulting new progression formulae.
